Services
PK4 - Children must be 4.0 years old and eligible for Kindergarten the following academic year. Due to our commitment to current families combined with limited space, applications from new families will be considered once the needs of our current families have been met. We will process your registration request and update you with a decision within 5 business days.
Our school's curriculum was developed to encourage learning through play, exploration and small group instruction. Staying true to our teaching philosophy, we focus on individual learning styles to determine and modify the way we teach, and since there is no such thing as a one-size fits all curriculum, we borrow from multiple models to provide our students with opportunities for a positive learning experience.

My son has been in this school since last summer camp, and he absolutely loved it!!! The teachers are nice as mommies, the new owner is obviously doing a much better job. Genesis also offers day care when it`s public holidays so it`s really convenient for working parents. I highly recommend this school.

What a fantastic daycare! I think the other reviewer may have been delayed with their review as the facility is far from "unorganized and shabby". After the change of ownership, the facility has been meticulously renovated and maintained. A very clean and and inviting look. The programs are great, staff is friendly, nurturing, and caring. The new director, Jinah, is very responsive and informative. My daughter loves Genesis and all of their great staff members!

After recently moving to Fort Lee, I was looking all over for a preschool for my daughter. I asked around to close friends and new neighbors and I have heard a lot of good reviews about Genesis Preschool and Academy. I was still hesitant as a first time mom, and spent a lot of time researching, reading reviews, and meeting with different preschools/teachers/directors. I setup an interview to take a tour of Genesis Preschool and was immediately blown away by the cleanliness and attentive staff.

Very unorganized and shabbily run. Few instances were son returned with a cut to his inner thigh and when I approached Ms Song, she was highly antagonistic and defensive and suggested I was out to take her to court. The cut took more than a month to disappear. The doors were often open, went to pick up my son. Also too many kids and people moving in and out.

Overall I was very pleased with Genesis. I got the impression that the staff was very dedicated to the students and really went out of their way to create a good learning environment. My daughter was happily surprised when she got "homework" to do and I could tell she enjoyed her time there. The biggest detraction from the school is that their is no play-ground on premise so the kids have to go to a park a block away. My wife checked on them a few times to make sure the staff was attentive, but she found that they were and were very careful taking the children to and from the park. We have a few

When I moved to NJ last year, I had to find a preschool for my son. He just wanted to attend school for a half day program. So it was hard for me to find a suitable program and school. Also, it was not easy to find teachers who really cared and loved children. Luckily, I found Genesis Learning Center on Google after I kept searching for couples of days. My children have been attending the after school program at Genesis Learning Center for the past 2 years. My husband and I both work and we have the peace of mind that the children are being properly transported from their school to the center, and that the teachers there make sure that they complete their homework. The center also provides a number of different activities, including art, dance, and Tae Kwon Do.
