Dr. Wheeler attended the University of Maine, Orono for his undergraduate degree and the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he earned his DDS. He is a current member of the Mass Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Wheeler is passionate about his work and strives for excellence.

Digital radiography (digital X-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental X-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of X-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. Digital X-rays reduce radiation 80-90% compared to the already low exposure of traditional dental X-rays.

I travel over an hour roundtrip to go to Dr. Wheeler's office, even though I have moved since I first went there, because of his years of good service. From the front desk to the exam room, everyone is both professional and extremely friendly. I have had wonderful experiences with every hygienist, and Dr. Wheeler himself is not only a skilled dentist, but a great conversationalist who manages to make a trip to the dentist into an enjoyable outing. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I have been a patient for many years ,with a variety of dental procedures.
In each instance, Dr Wheeler was professional, supportive, thorough, and as an aside, entertaining! His keen sense of humor, while not most important, serves as a great distraction if you have any level of dental anxiety.
Similarly, the entire staff is welcoming, capable and willing to answer any questions or concerns. It is rare that you look forward to a visit to the dentist but I have stuck with this practice for just that reason!
I do not often write reviews but my appreciation for this practice necessitates it!
