Services
Our team of eye doctors and support staff care about the visual and overall health aspects of our growing family of patients in the local community of West Cobb. We all consider it a privilege to build and maintain partnerships with our neighbors in preserving God's wonderful gift of sight. Dr. Scott Holcomb, a native Virginian, earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry.
The Doctors and staff at Drs. Holcomb and Associates are consistent champions of information and practices that encourage our family, friends and patients toward optimal health. Long-term best practices include strengthening your immune system to function as it is designed - On the whole, our immune system does a remarkable job of defending us against disease-causing microorganisms.
The problem: none of the above conditions are painful or noticeable to you until they have progressed to the point where your sight is threatened, potentially irreversibly. Your doctor will discuss all findings, diagnoses, prescriptions and recommendations with you. Remember, being fully informed is vital to optimizing your ocular and overall wellness.
A contact lens is considered a medical device. Because they make contact with the eye, all lenses require proper fit and regular evaluation by an eye doctor in order to protect the health of the front surface of the eye. More and more people are choosing contacts as a convenient and affordable alternative to glasses and refractive surgery.
At Drs. Holcomb and Associates, we use traditional methods of evaluation and incorporate state of the art equipment to detect conditions earlier and with increased accuracy. With new advancements in science and technology, we find that treatment protocol started sooner can prevent or slow vision deterioration and reestablish comfort.

I saw them in 2018 & they were great so I go in 2021and see Dr. Patel. Got my prescription and had the glasses made at Costco like last time. You can't beat the price at Costco. I start getting headaches after wearing them for 15 minutes even though I see through them fine. I go to Lenscrafters and tell them and they check the lenses and they were made to the correct prescription. They don't know why. Might be the lenses, I am told. I go to Costco because nobody is listening to me and get my eyes checked as a new patient and the prescription is different. So I call and ask for Dr

This was my first visit with this optometry group. I could not be more pleased with the care I received and the attention to detail. Dr Bergin treated me like his family. He took time to explain what he saw in the optomap scan and recommended ways I could maintain the health of my eyesight. I highly recommend Dr Bergin.

I had an appointment with Dr. Holcomb recently. He was very thorough and always willing to answer questions (I ask a lot)! My favorite part of the exam was his review of the Optomap retinal scans. As a biology student, it is THE COOLEST to see the inside of my own eye and have a professional explain the structures responsible for my clear vision!

Great Eye Physicians. Very thorough and listen. However the customer service following REALLY needs to improve! Many examples of this but I'll list just one:
My eye exam was specifically for, new contact lenses.
They provided me a trial pair that unfortunately would not stay in place .....(part of the challenges with having a high stigmatism). Because of, I really was, in need of another brand of contact, trial lenses.
I phoned to inform them of my issue within 42 hours of trying the 1st trial lenses. That call was on August 4th or 5th. At which time, I made the request for a 2nd trial
