Under the sun in the Valley of the Moon, B.R. Cohn Winery has been making small lot, vineyard designated wines since 1984. Nestled between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain range in scenic Glen Ellen, the winery offers an inviting, relaxed environment for discovering new wines. Enjoy our memorabilia room that showcases founder Bruce Cohn's 45 years of rock-n-roll managing The Doobie Brothers.
Saddle up to the wine bar or sit outside to enjoy the sunshine, our heritage Picholine olive grove and rolling hillside vineyards. Drive up and park at the front of the winery and wait in your vehicle. A B.R. Cohn team member will come out to the barrel at the front 10 feet from the car; roll down your window and provide the name for the pickup.

Stopped by through the Sonoma Trolley Wine Tour and B.R. Cohn was such a lovely first spot. We stopped by in the morning and got a nice flight (3 reds and one white) to taste under the sun. Aside from the wine, they also have olive oils, which we were unable to taste. The wine is a bit on the pricy side, but the wine and experience does justify the price. The views of the vineyards are beautiful! Truly a Sonoma County experience!

What a wonderful experience! I brought some out-of-town guests to BR Cohn and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the great views to the awesome wine to the personalized and friendly service, it was a great wine country experience. I highly recommend visiting this winery - oops, almost forgot - be sure to sample the olive oils and balsamic vinegars - the champagne balsamic is my favorite. This is a must-do when visiting Sonoma wine country.

We had a very pleasant experience tasting some of B.R. Cohn's delicious wines. As locals, we chose to visit this winery because they are pet friendly AND they have olive oils to taste! We came away with several bottles of wine and oil and vinegar. Plenty of space to maintain social distance and Louis, our server, was great.

This is the worst winery I've ever been to. First of all, it is located in the middle of no where. Secondly, the service was horrible. We made reservation for four adults and they reserved us a tasting room table for a particular time. When we got there we found the tasting room had zero view and all we see is a fridge like a cafe. They refused to give us the dining room for tasting, as there's another group with 6 people are coming. We hanged out there for another hour no one was coming. This is really ridiculous - they completely ignored our reservation. The whole set up is laughable

I fell in love with BR Cohn and joined as member because of their amazing customer service! They have literally treated us like family from day one. Even though they often have big groups that show up, they accommodate all guests with smiles and serve with professionalism. I'd truly recommend them as a wine club to join on the Sonoma side. They've never pressured any of my guests to join, but their wine and customer service stands out with memorable warmness, that my guests are inclined and want to be a part of this winery.

I love this location. After the pandemic hit they converted the outdoor space to accommodate tastings. The view is gorgeous and the atmosphere is relaxing. Because it's spacious it's able to take large reservations. The wine is good too! They offer some light and crisp white wines as well as some deep reds. I, personally, love their cab and their Malbec best. We became members shortly after visiting and enjoy their live music in the summer. If you haven't visited, I highly recommend adding it to your list!

My husband and I got married at the end of July at BR Cohn and it was truly magical. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the location was and how good the wine was. Victoria was incredibly easy to work with and was always very quick to respond to even the little detailed questions that randomly came up. We loved working with her and all of the staff on the property as they were very attentive and helpful. We joined the wine club to get a better price for the day of wine. We have gone to BR Cohn many times before and after our wedding and will continue to as we will hold it near and dear

We have been here before. On this day we did not have the best service. We were there for over 30 minutes and received one pour for tasting after we reminded them that we had not been served after being seated. It was clear that we were not too important. After waiting a while we finally got up and
left. We will try them again on a future visit. Not too impressed this time.

We attended a wedding at B.R. Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen, CA in Sonoma County over the weekend. Such a beautiful venue! The view of the vineyards beyond the 'deck' where the ceremony was held was nothing short of stunning.
Plenty of shade on the lawn area as we waited to enjoy dinner under a large covered pavilion.
B.R. Cohn wines are lovely. We especially enjoy their Chardonnay. Parking for guests was plentiful even though the winery itself was still open and serving patrons for wine tasting. The area for the wedding and reception was private and away from the actual tasting room and

TERRIBLE!!! We came in a tour. The service was terrible!!! The wine was set out in the sun abs they serve it WARM š”š”š”! Tasted awful!! I think they donāt understand the basic idea of a cooler with ice! This is so disrespectful, you donāt serve the wine warm just because is a tour and you donāt careā¦ Never coming back !!

Nice winery to stop by. They were pretty flexible with our appointment as long as we were doing tasting by glass or bottle. Unfortunately the access to their vineyards is restricted but it's still a pretty cool property to walk around. They also have free olive oil tasting on site. And were selling gelato cups on the dy we were there too

First off the Doobie Brothers Manager owns this place, WHAT! That alone explained a lot about the premises LOL, because there is a huge guitar and various places for a band to play, and almost like a concert venue below on a hill for an audience to just sit in the grass with their wines and blankets and listen to the band play while looking out at the vineyards. My friend also bought their olive oil and said she wishes she had gotten way more. They also have a section that has some outdoor games and a place for a DJ that can keep the kiddos in. Too when we went we saw various dog groups, one was

First and foremost, WOW at the incredible views that this place has. The entire property is bursting with life and fresh green plants, leaving you looking all 360Ā° for even a glimmer of something that isn't perfect. You won't find it, because it doesn't exist. This place is GORGEOUS. Now let's talk wine š· it's DELICIOUS. I prefer the Pinot Noir, because of the nice smokey flavor, but all of the reds were fantastic. Not going to lie, I walked out with a few bottles.

I LOVE THIS WINERY! omg! It is for sure underrated. I booked this place from my friends bachelorette- even reserved a cabana and let me tell you it was so worth it. Their customer service is the best I've received in Glen Ellen and Napa. They go above and beyond, truly. They also have the best scenic vineyards for those photos you need for the gram or just because. Our group was on the larger size and they accommodated and recommended bottle purchases vs tasting which worked out great. I love an honest company, I trust them and I would 100 percent return

There are so many reasons to love B.R. Cohn!!!
They have a huge outdoor seating area with gorgeous views of the vineyard. Live music. Food is available for purchase, including cheese plates and freshly made pizza (from an outdoor pizza oven) AND are dog friendly (we couldn't resist bringing Pepito along for the trip)
We had such a blast! Tasting fees are very affordable, especially for the incredible ambiance. The wine was enjoyable... not like blown away amazing but very approachable! This will be top of my list to bring guests who want to experience wine country.

We were looking to purchase their terrific Rasberry Champagne Vinegar and could not find it in any of the normal places that carried it so we decided to drive to Glen Ellen and pickup a couple of bottles. We heard that the winery was beautiful so this was a good chance to check it out. We decided to go on a Thursday afternoon and I made reservations for a picnic lunchbox and wine for 2.....during COVID they cannot do wine tasting so you purchase wine by the glass/bottle. When we arrived it was not busy at all and we got a great table overlooking the vineyards - it was a warm beautiful clear
