Abbot's Passage Winery & Mercantile
Abbot's Passage is a winery and mercantile located in the heart of Glen Ellen. We're inspired by the paths less traveled. We celebrate processes and products that embrace the exceptional. Whether you're new to our valley or a seasoned explorer, here's to something unexpected, but just what you were looking for.

Nestled between rows of 100-year old vines and surrounded by the storied hills of Sonoma, finding Abbot's Passage means you are both lost and found. Our eclectic collection of Rhone-style wines inspires a winery and curated mercantile experience that challenges convention. Whether coming to taste, shop, play or celebrate, our collective invites friends and family to come often and stay awhile.
Services
Take a turn off the beaten track, and you'll discover Glen Ellen. Things have always been done a bit differently in this relaxed, bohemian enclave of Sonoma, that has long played host to wandering minds and adventurous spirits. Glen Ellen carries a special connection for AP vintner Katie Bundschu and her family.
We invite you to join our Collective-those searching for something unexpected, something they can't quite put their finger on, but when found, know it's just what they were looking for. Membership to the AP Collective guarantees access to our small-batch wines upon release through four automated shipments per year in February, May, September and November.

This is a beautiful winery. The tasting room is classy and well decorated. The surrounding grounds are pretty. The wine is very good. We enjoyed all of the wines that we tasted. However, the price per flight for tasting was a bit steep.

Ok mixed wine and pretentious staff...
The wine is not good enough for a $40 tasting and no comp if you buy. .

Love this place. ALL the wines I tried are delicious. From the first time we came, we knew we would be back. We were sat in the vineyards and the service was phenomenal. We started off with some almonds and olives as well as our choice of distilled or sparkling water for the table! The grazing board is a must! For the price you get a ton of items and delicious homemade hummus! My second time back, I became a wine club member. Highly recommend this new spot!

Beautiful venue with stellar service from the very moment we arrived. Steve was a charming host who engaged in chatting on- and off topic but still somehow made sure to fit in the full spiel. We appreciated the timing of the pouring - he never interrupted us rudely and yet was right on time when the tasting for a particular glass had slowed down. The food board was tasty although perhaps a little short on flat crackers between 5. Particularly liked the quince treat, cheeses and olives. Our favourite was the Points Unknown red and Redshift. Also, we were shielded from the wind (which is not the

Amazing wine tasting experience! Our wine expert/server Josh went above and beyond to give my fiancé and me a personalized experience and walk us through each wine. The winery was recently bought by Abbott’s Passage and is under going renovations, so very excited to see what the finished product will be!

I came here for the Field Table experience which included a tasting of four wines as well as amazingly delicious food pairings and bites. The food is so unique to Wine Country as it's not super heavy - it's actually mostly produce and seasonal items that are fresh and delicious. Being surrounded by vines was gorgeous and it's an experience I will never forget.

Not only do they have wine tasting here but they also carry a selection of outdoor clothing and home decor. Located just off the square in Sonoma.
