MTS provides non-emergency medical transportation for clients who require transportation by stretcher and continuous accompaniment by qualified Medical Care Attendants, particularly for those whose medical status does not meet certain criteria for the use of an EMS Ambulance.

Traditionally, a gurney transport would be a non-medically assisted transportation. Releases, transfers or transport when the client is medically stable, but needs to be in supine position during travel and require the assistance of an EMT and a driver in a specialty vehicle capable of accommodating stretchers and staff.

They did NOT show as scheduled not could they be reached by phone. I had scheduled a pick up at a hospital after surgery. The recovery room nurse was to call them when I was ready to be picked up. Neither the local or national number worked. The message in both was they were busy with calls. The nurse called several times for an hour. I had to make other arrangements to get home. Find another company.

MTS provided the service of a lifetime over two days for my 99 year old mother!!!! My mother lives in Pennsylvania, and I wanted to arrange for her to see her beloved city of Washington, DC where she was born and lived for the first thirty years of her life. However, she is wheelchair bound (with two aides in attendance), so I wanted her to be comfortable for her "homecoming." I also had a special itinerary of places that I knew were important for her to see because they had special meaning to her life, and I knew that frequent stops and/or slow "drive-by" driving would be the order of the day

MTS did a great job and the price was quite reasonable. Both the scheduler and the driver were very courteous, polite, and professional. The driver arrived early to pick me up and to take me home but did not charge me waiting time. It was a relief to have reliable transportation to and from a medical procedure.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. They arrived two hours late. We were blessed that the church allowed us to stay in the church after the funeral to wait for two hours. If not, my aunt would have been sitting in the cold for two hours. The drivers were very nice however the people who manage the routes and book the contracts need to do a better job with time management. If your time is valuable I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Poor attention to detail, and atrocious customer service. I arranged MTS to transport my spouse who had a badly broken leg for about a 15 minute ride - airport to hotel - for $220. I chose this company solely because they promised to bring a wheelchair with a LEG EXTENDER. This was a medical necessity. The driver showed up -- on time -- with a regular wheelchair. When I asked where the extender was, he had no idea what I was talking about. We were stuck so I had to use MTS to transport my husband anyway, and he was in considerable pain. They are always punctual and each person I’ve met has been friendly and professional, Daniel assisted me in transporting my elderly uncle from ManorCare Health Services to Fairfax Hospital. We have used MTS several times over the last few months and the process has been seamless. As anyone living in the DMV knows, traffic can be quite a hassle but they have always kept any waiting to a minimum. Even needing to use a medical transport company in the first place can be stressful but these folks have been courteous and professional, always. We would use them again and recommend them highly.

I have been using MTS since it’s inception over a decade ago. I have watched the company grow from a single passenger limo to a business that provides transportation to elderly passengers and those with medical needs. The company is well run with courteous, compassionate, helpful, and polite professional drivers. This is due to company leadership - he expects this from all of his employees.
On a more personal note, MTS provided transportation for my mother, who at the time was in her 80s, and had daily radiation treatments for 6 weeks. I knew my mother was in excellent hands.

I used MTS to transport my father in a stretcher from Virginia to Gainesville, Florida on September, 19th. 2017. Of course I was slightly worried about the distance he had to travel but the people at MTS were nothing short of amazing. I was truly impressed by their professionalism, their attentiveness to my fathers needs and the overall service they provided from booking the trip to dropping him off at his home.
