Dr. Lauren Adams received a B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and continued on to receive her dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry.Dr. Adams has been dedicated to serving the Oakton community since 1998. Dr. Adams is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA) and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.

Preventative care is the key to a healthy smile. Regular checkups allow us to treat issues before they become a problem. Sometimes, cosmetic dentistry is the best course of action in these cases. Dr. Adams is just amazing. She is so kind and gentle. Her hygienist
Maria is also wonderful. I always have xrays and cleaning done in the same visit. She puts me at ease and I do have dental anxiety. I can't say what used to be years ago but the office is run professionally and you do not wait. She is all about patient care and respects your time. My husband and I have seen Dr. Adams for three years. We tried three other dentists and we feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Adams and she is in Oakton. Wish we had know sooner!
If we move away I am going to return to Oakton to see her.

I've gone to Dr. Adams twice now - once last week for the regular cleaning/exam and once this week for a filling (that was found during last week's appointment). Both times, Dr. Adams and the rest of her staff have been really friendly, courteous, professional, and personable. This was particularly true today as it's been many years since I'd had a filling done and was a bit nervous about the procedure. I appreciated them letting me know what was going on, asking if I was okay after the numbing shot, etc. The office is nice, clean, and conveniently located off of Hunter Mill

This is my husband's dentist. She will never allow for more than one thing to be done at an appointment so cleanin, exam, xrays all have to have their seperate appointment which is very hard to schedule. In addition we have recently had the office submit 2 claims to our insuruance for servicies not provided one for me and I have never even been there!

My family has been going to Dr Adams for 17 years. To us she is like family. She was always interested in my children as they grew up, and now they adore her as young adults also. Dr Adams runs her practice in a very professional, punctual, thoughtful way. She is very thorough and careful in her work and requires it of her staff also. She will refer you if needed to the best specialists, as she seems to know which ones are worthy of her beloved patients. Her staff is always cheerful and they tend to stay with her for a long time. Her equipment and waiting room are all very up to date and spotless

Dr. Adams is by far one of the best dentists I've ever worked with and have worked with many over the years. I found her office staff to be professional, organized, caring, and courteous. I find both Dr. Adams and Dr. Kitt to be kind and caring, they really get to know you so they can make the best treatment p,an for your. They also work with ou when you have financial issues. As for the review above it is very surprising as my experience has been quite positive. I moved here recently and relied on a recommendation and fount myself very glad to work with Dr Adams and her team of professionals

Having moved to the area within the past 2 years, its never fun to try and find new dentist & Dr's. Plus my former dentist set the bar very high! I tried Dr Adams due to close proximity. I experienced very disorganized appointments, cancellation/changes on their end, even before my first visit, which should have served as warning. I was not impressed with the service, office and level of recent technology compared to my prior dentist. There were a number other issues that I encountered of which handling I wasn't impressed with. I really felt like they didn't appreciate
