We are solely dedicated to your pet's care! We look forward to getting to know you, and we hope you'll take the time to scroll down and get to know us. Dr. Hutchinson is from Greenville, Kentucky. She went to Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agriculture, with a minor in pre-veterinary medicine.
We are a predominantly small animal practice in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Our animal hospital is equipped to handle everything from routine care for dogs & cats to urgent visits. Boarding & Daycare - We now require all dogs receive the Canine Influenza Vaccine before going into our boarding facility. Dentistry -To prevent tooth decay, which can result in tooth loss, pain, and ultimately periodontal disease, our vet recommends yearly check-ups and dental cleaning.
Marion Animal Hospital's senior wellness program aims to bridge the gap between routine veterinary care and the end of life. We consider all dogs and cats 7 years of age or older to be seniors and recommend twice yearly examinations for early detection of disease and to optimize health. We moved from PA to SC. Our 9 year old orange tabby, Toby, needed his annual check up and shots. The lobby was closed, so we pulled into a space and followed directions. The staff came out to our car, collected Toby and asked about our concerns. A short time later, Toby, was returned and we were updated. The staff is very friendly and professional.

They have done so many great things for me! They helped me when my boy got injured twice and for a reasonable price. I absolutely will always be going back to them. Dr. Hutchinson I belive is how I spell it, is a wonderful vet and I will forever be grateful to them.

Harley has been there a few times now for nail trims and was seen two or three times for medical issues. I am always so greatful for the wonderful care she receives there. The vet techs and Dr Hutchinson are so understanding of Harley’s prior history of suspected abuse and neglect before I rescued her. Truly blessed to have such wonderful care so close to us!

I paid for a vet visit they were too lazy didn't fill out the paperwork they gave me never told me anything about what is going on with my dog told me to take a medicine did not work told me to take another medicine did not work I feel that they just take people's money and they don't do nothing for the public

I've only been here a few times with my pets (and, during the pandemic, so never been inside) but they accepted all of my pets as new clients with no complaints and have been wonderful. I have not met the vet myself since they are not fully open but from what I have seen the vet and the techs care about your pets. I appreciate that they send appt reminders and medicine reminders by text.

Levi absolutely Loved Dr John, he even gave him Smoochies. And that speaks volumes because Levi is very selfish with his Smoochies and hug’s. Levi also let Dr John pick him up and that really shocked me. And at… the end of the visit Levi and Dr John played in the floor and that’s when Levi gave him a Smoochies. Thank You Dr John for taking he extra time with him, it helped Levi not to be scared. And Levi left being one Happy Boy and that means everything to us.

Do you not go there the staff is nothing but playing nasty. Took my 16-year-old dog to get groomed and that was it so I agreed on paying for the three shots the rabies and everything needed but then they went ahead and done a heartworm rest and exam, Without even asking me and charge me and I told him I wasn’t going to pay it they told me they take… it off my bill while they did not had to call the cops. . Then they kept my expensive flea collar that I just paid $45 for and they did that on purpose when I told them they needed to credit me back for the exam they told me to call the

Everyone was wonderful with my Harley! Harley is a Pitbull and I was worried about how she would be-even though she’s a big baby. The staff was completely understanding of my anxiety and Harley’s! Harley had a great experience and I feel so much better knowing that Harley was in wonderful hands when I couldn’t be there with her. I had a chihuahua that started bleeding on Sunday. I called the oncall Dr, told her everything that was going on. he said to wait until Monday and bring her in. she got worse throughout the day and I called… again. I was told the same thing again, wait took Monday. she got worse and I called again. I was told she would be fine until Monday. needles to say, she passed away that night.

It’s awfully hard to find positives amidst the Covid pandemic but I’ll have to say Marion Animal Hospital has it figured out! You simply drive into a parking space and there is signage with the telephone number… and the parking space number. Call the number, let them know what space you’re in and they come get your fur baby, take them in for the visit and bring them back. No need to miss an appointment or put off a visit - it’s very easy! Thanks MAH for the great service!

I cannot day enough good things about the staff at MAH. They've met me up there three times for emergencies, and my Australian Shepherd was badly matted, so I took him there for a groom. I asked that only the parts that absolutely needed shaving her shaved, because you're not supposed to cut a double coated dog's hair. Y'all. She took the time to actually BRUSH ALL THE MATS OUT. She did not shave a single area other than his belly, which I asked to be shaved. They are so good!
