My grandma was put here and passed recently. We were left in the dark about her health, didn't even know she was actively dying. While visiting her the place was absolutely disgusting, the staff was hardly helpful. She looked severely malnourished and dehydrated and when we gave her water she chugged it like she was without it for a long time. DO NOT put your loved ones in this facility. The place should be shut down

I've been working at Douglasville nursing and rehabilitation for over a year now. I was having transportation issues and was walking over 7 miles each way to work when I couldn't find a ride. The management team found out I was doing this and raised money to buy a moped for me! I am forever grateful to the management staff and Douglasville nursing and rehabilitation. They really care about the staff and residents here!

First day getting there my mother had to use the restroom and instead of giving her a bedpan they balled up a bunch of sheets and put it under her for the night she was soaking wet the next morning. I don't know if they're understaffed or people are just not willing to work but every time my mother asks for simple things to be done people had attitudes and would say someone else would do it and would leave the room and would never come back. When somebody finally did come back they would give her the same excuse when someone else will do it and then they would not come back. My mother has sores

I wanted to come and share my experience at Douglasville. I worked here for about 3 months and I just had to leave. The management team needs to be overhauled. Especially the DON. The ED is letting her run the building and she's running it down. She doesn't know how to talk to people and you never see her on the floor. I didn't even meet her until my second month there. The staff members are not that bad and not all management is bad. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because the HR manager. She was so friendly and upbeat with me from the moment I got hired to the orientation. That was the

I am currently a nurse at DNRC. This is actually my second time employed here. I want to say that whatever negative experience anyone has encountered, I apologize on behalf of us all. But I would like to share some positivity. It’s easy to judge when you have only a snapshot of a much larger picture. No one knows of the social worker who for years out of her own pocket supplies a single resident with whatever she needs, or the patient’s hands we hold, or tears we dry, or hugs we give. I gave at least ten patient hugs today, my off day. Hugs they can’t get from family right now. Let’s talk

I am currently a resident at Douglasville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The Staff are professional and friendly. Their interactions with residents are one of extreme patience and calm. These people are exceptional at doing their jobs. The Rehab Staff do not play. They carefully work with you in preparation for your discharge. Shout Out to every person who was involved in my care. I sincerely thank each of you.
