Hi, my name is Manny, as a first generation Cuban American I have always been surrounded by amazing Cuban cooks. I learned some wonderful recipes and have been cooking this wonderful food my entire life and it served as a gateway to a thirty five year career in the hospitality industry. Growing up In my circle of friends and family we most definitely "Lived to eat".
Similar in every way to Aroz con Pollo but substituting Shimp for the chicken and a touch of dry white wine. In Castros Cuba if you didn't live on the coast you did not get shrimp very often. This is the "peasant style". One of the great dishes of the Cuban culture. A softly fragrant stew of ground beef, a sofrito of onions, garlic, tomatoes, with raisins added for sweetness and olives for salt.
El Cubano Catering can accommodate fewer guest but must charge for the minimum to make it financially viable. Gratuities for the staff are appreciate for an exceptional job and left to the discretion of the client. All menu items can prepared on-site or at one of our Certified Kitchens and served buffet style.
Whether it's a staff meeting, sales presentation or Company outing we offer professional "Drop Off" services in a discrete full service manner. We will deliver and setup all items fresh, hot, chilled, ready to serve in covered aluminum trays with wire stands, and lit sternos to keep things warm. Corporate discounts available for qualifying business members.
We start you off with our Maraquitas covered in garlic sauce and lime. Our 12 hour Cuban style marinated whole pig, roasted at your location in our "La Caja China" roaster. We also include our delicious Cuban Mojo Chicken. Add some White Rice and Black Beans, Sweet Plantains, Avocado, Onion & Tomato salad, Yuca with garlic sauce, and authentic Cuban Bread.
