Why the wine industry? I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when Rob & Diana needed a finance person and I was happy to leave the tech industry behind. I've always liked wine tasting and love being able to help create memorable experiences for our guests through our talented staff.
Testarossa's location at the historic Novitiate Winery in downtown Los Gatos, California, is both a state-of-the-art working winery and a truly dramatic setting for visitors. The old stone cellars and beautiful grounds of the state's fourth oldest continuously operating winery house the tasting room and Wine Bar 107, and provide an amazing venue for private events.
Learn the full history of Testarossa Winery - from the first vintage at the Jensen's garage in Sunnyvale to our 25th Anniversary at the historic Novitiate Winery in Los Gatos, CA. Testarossa is committed to the sustainability of the land and the vineyards that produce the grapes for our acclaimed wine. Testarossa Winery did an absolutely lovely job hosting our welcome party the day before our wedding, and our guests were blown away! The venue was beautiful, with gorgeous nighttime lighting that felt like an Italian town center, a huge wine cave with multiple rooms, and great foliage and decorations throughout. The staff and service was excellent, as was the delicious food! (Seriously, I did not expect that the food at a winery would be THAT good) Oh, and last but not least, the wine was wonderful. They have really solid wines at a reasonable price bracket, and our guests could've sworn they

$20 tasting fee for 4 wines. We made reservations online for wine tasting on Saturday a few days ago. There were a lot of slots open but as it got closer to the date, less time slots were available. Big parking lot space. We had to check in at the little shack before walking the stairs up. We wanted to do outdoor tasting only. But outdoor was actually completely clear tented. We were spaced apart from other tables and sometimes there's noone sitting at the other tables. It was a 45 min tasting limit but we finished within 30 mins. The tasting pours were quite small. I would suggest to get

You know how you take something for granted because it is close to where you live. That was me and Testarossa Winery. Finally made it here today and had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful setting and the wine and service were great.
We took a chance and did a walk-in without a reservation and thankfully, they were able to get us a table. We did the tasting and got to try out 5 of their wines which were very good.
They get their grapes from different areas but make all their wine right there which is cool. There's plenty of patio seating and heaters which was appreciated on a cold

Had a lovely wine tasting experience with my friend here! I made a reservation for wine tasting since it was highly recommended to do so, and I see why. The day we went, they had no additional spaces for walk ins and they needed to stick fairly strictly to their 45 minute wine tasting time per table due to how many reservations they had.
Our tasting was outdoors, but they have you set up in a large clear tent and lots of heaters, so it was very beautiful and cozy. The staff there was all very courteous and helpful, and they even gave us a little history lesson about the winery which was rather

Met friends for wine tasting over the holidays and it was wonderful. We happened to pick a date that it was raining but the whole tasting area was enclosed by tents which was perfect. I did feel rushed because as soon as two of us sat down they brought over the first tasting and two members of our party hadn't arrived yet. Before we were half way done with the tasting they brought out the next one so all of us were drinking a lot faster than we wanted to. The wines are hit and miss. There are definitely ones that were better than the others. I would go back just to sit at the wine bar and

One of the most beautiful and scenic wineries I have ever been to! Even though it is by appointment only, making a reservation online waseasy and I was able to make a reservation the same day on a weekend. Kristine helped my boyfriend and I with our wine tasting experience. I love how friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable she was with all of the wines she introduced us to. This place was so relaxing and will definitely be coming back here again!

We had reservations for tasting and wine 107 room where you. Tasting is separate from the eating and drinking. We were a little late for our reservation but it wasn't too busy at the time and they accommodated us. You do have to show your ID and Vaccine card before you are seated. Our tasting server met us at the table with our first couple tastings. No time wasted! It is a fixed tasting of their four popular wines. You do not get to choose the selection. The second Chardonnay on the tasting menu was definitely my favorite and I'm not even a Chardonnay drinker.

This was our first time visiting Testarossa. We had the most fabulous time. Alex was fantastic for our tasting and Alfredo was perfect for our Wine Bar 107 meal. We got 3 bottles to take home. The kitchen served up a wonderful cheese plate that filled us with delicious varieties of cheese, fruit, olives, crackers and spreads. THANK YOU ALL!

My wife and I love going to Testarossa Winery for wine tasting and eating one of their various meat, fish, cheese, fruit, nuts, vegetable and cracker plates. After we are done with the plate, we typically get a desert plate, got to love their chocolate plate.
Staff is awesome in every respect. Emily, Norman, Kristen and Michael will take great care of you so you can have a very relaxing time to enjoy great wine and cuisine.

I wish I asked for the names of our servers!
I booked two reservations. One for a tasting and one for the food.
Each tasting is $20 each for 4 wines, 5 if you're as lucky as we were! We tried 2 white wines and 3 reds. Personally, I LOVED the Chardonnay. Normally, Chardonnay wines taste too similar to me, but this one was quite different. It was easy to sip on and so refreshing. Perfect on a hot day. The tasting patio was well spread out and covered. They gave us a cute little spot - two padded benches next to the trees. I guess our server noticed that some flies were bothering us so he

Nice wines, questionable service. Let me start by noting that I don’t typically leave negative reviews and, especially when there is a national labor shortage, it’s important to assume the best. At the same time, my experience at the winery left a lot to be desired. Towards the end of our tasting, I inquired about joining the wine club. Literally while completing my sign-up, another woman came over to ask that we move to another table because there was another reservation. There were ample other tables available. When I mentioned we would only be a moment while I completed my sign up, she reiterated

Testarossa was the site of my wedding On 9/5/2021 and it was beautiful and flawless and so much fun was had by everyone. The grounds were redone during covid and its absolutely gorgeous. The bandstand is brand new with a new pergola over it and a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The staff was incredibly patient and helpful given covid kept changing what we could and could not do and helpful every step of the way. Our guests are still raving about the food and the wine is always wonderful.

2021 -Nestled between the mountains and downtown Los Gatos, the historic property is beautiful. Currently, they don't have a music program and all the tastings are outside and limited to 90 minutes. You must schedule ahead. You can't really appreciate the architecture of the building but you can enjoy the gardens. The wine bar is open for food and wine glasses. There's always music coming through the speakers creating a nice ambiance. Wines are mostly Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs due to proximity to the cooler coastal mountains. The staff is very friendly.

Came here for an afternoon to enjoy the scene, be sure to have an appointment booked. We had an appointment for 4 PM on a Saturday. There were a fair amount of people there, but the staff did a good job of telling patrons that masks should be worn at all times when not at your seated tables.
We went for the wine tasting flight as well as the Wine bar. They give you a coupon per person for a bottle purchase at the Wine bar if you do the tasting before heading to the bar.
~~Parking: They have 2 lots and there was ample parking when we had arrived.
~~Service: Great! The staff was super friendly

Went to Testarossa again to celebrate my birthday with friends on a hot day. The flowers outside were beautiful! Great wine. Had some charcuterie plates. The salmon platter was excellent!! Staff was sweet and very accommodating. My friend was suffering with the hot weather, and staff brought us an ice bucket, relocated us to a cooler table outside, and finally relocated us to a table inside where the temps were 20 degrees cooler. Hats off to staff for going the extra mile to make us all happy!

Lovely grounds for outdoor wine tasting and fun. Started with a 45 minute wine tasting. I'm not normally a chardonnay fan (they primarily only have chardonnay and pinot noir) but these are not buttery or oaky tasting at all!
Then moved on to their other section where you can order food (cheese or meat boards) and glasses of wine. Great service by all, and excellent COVID practices! Highly recommend!

Our server, Mel was super nice and prompt. We had the salmon, meat and cheese boards and they were really delicious, highly recommend you check out this neighborhood gem whether you're near or far!

OVERALL a good experience. You park and walk up to a valet who directs you where to go. You wait and can test wine in one area. Then you can go to a different area to order food. Not a far drive up into the hills. Easy to see signs thank goodness.
FOOD their food options aren't extensive. You're best going with a sampler type platter with their cheeses fruits nuts and meat cuts. Prices are on the higher end but I expected that much being at a nice winery up in the hill.
STAFF were good. Only thing was there were FLIES everywhere! We asked for plate covers and it took too long to get

My sister and I came on Labor Day Monday for a tasting and wine bar reservations. To think we had a vineyard less than 30 mins from home and you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the Silicon Valley was well kind of nice on a HOT day!
The tastings are $20/pp. You get 4 small pours 2 whites and 2 reds for non-members. The wine is alright. Not the best being so close to napa but not bad either. Wines here are a definitely on the pricier side.
I did like that they upgraded the outdoor scene and added mist sprays throughout the patio to accommodate the extremely hot weather we've been

Modest wine tasting prices, decent wines. If you are fond of California Pinot noir, you'll like the wines. This is also a beautiful event space for hosting a party, wedding, etc. Personally, though, I felt that the wine tasting staff were knowledgeable, but all 'business' (i.e., get you in, get you out), so it was hard to relax and chill. We only stayed about 10 minutes because of that. Next time I think I'd rather just go get a glass of wine, sit outside, and enjoy the view. It truly is beautiful and tucked away in the woods. Worth a visit even just for that.
