We are a Twin Cities, Minnesota, company that creates custom metal railings, wrought iron railings, bronze railings, cable railings and aluminum railings, architectural staircases and stairways. Our finishing department can apply several different finishes, including blackened steel, and powder coat finishes.
In 2003 - armed with a truck, a welder, and the idea metal work could stand a significant dose of art and inspiration - Bauer Metal made its appearance. We offered fabrication and mobile welding services, and found that our creative ideas and let's-consider-this-from-another-angle approach resonated strongly with our customers.

Called for information about their capabilities, the woman on the phone wouldn’t tell me what pretreatment they use instead told me I am wasting her time and then hung up on me. She seemed very irritated and angry the second she picked up the phone. I’m glad that I didn’t ask about power chemistry, she would have blown a fuse. Incompetent shop
