Services
The Pied Piper School has been servicing local families and children since 1980. Our program is a blend of free play and structured time for children ages 18 months to 5. We cover all traditional nursery school curricula through music, art, theatre and dance. We offer 1/2 day sessions, full day sessions and extended care for children 18 months through Pre-K, and a full service after school program for all ages.
The Pied Piper program is a blend of free play time and structured time. In preparing your child for elementary school, there are times when the child governs and initiates his/her own activities, with teacher interatction when necessary. There are also times when projects or activities are teacher initiated and everyone is working towards the same goals.
Group lessons encourages participation and challenges ability while providing identification with other students as well as the instructor. Group sizes average 4-6 children, depending on age and ability. Instruction Books: John Thompson primer "Teaching Little Fingers to Play" with additional material from Michael Aaron, Bastian, seasonal material and popular songs.
