When someone we care about is ill or dying it's important that they are treated with extra care and support. I know first-hand how hard it is to find the professional help needed during these tough times. My name is Cindy May and this is my story.
Back in 1996 while raising my small children, my dear grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease - a debilitating disease which wipes away the person's memory and abilities to the point where they regress back to childhood.My family hired aides to care for my grandmother, but they took advantage of her by stealing from her and abusing her.

If you have a family member with Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, or one who is recuperating from surgery, you will need home health care services. Heart Matters Home Health Care has a professional team of nurses, CNA--certified nursing assistants, and Home Health Aides that are willing and able to provide the assistance that you need.

Cindy and her team are great. When we had a very new experience of having our mother in law at the home due to dementia, she took over found great caregivers, helped manage our insurance we had that we didnt know how to use. It is a personal touch from them, unlike the larger agencies that really feel more like a business.

After my knee replacement surgery, I required help at home, and Heart Matters took over my care. The HMHHC nurse, examined me, reassured my fears, and suggested things to do to make my life manageable. In the following weeks, a health care "angel" helped me navigate life with a recovering knee, and gently led me to challenge myself so that I could become independent. I am so impressed with the care I received from this company. Everyone from HMHHC with whom I came in contact was helpful, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. I very highly recommend this care-giving company.

I’ve been working at Heart Matters Home Health Care for 1 year. The support system that we have is always available by the administration by phone or in person. We all work together as a team. The administration always works within my schedule. We love all of our clients and they receive the best care possible.

Our family was extremely happy with Cindy and her staff. They took care of all the details of our family member's daily care and communicated with us regularly. Cindy made herself available to us whenever needed and always had a kind, happy way about her. Her staff was well trained, kind, willing to go the extra mile and dependable. Wow...We replaced the home care provider with Cindy. She constantly thinks out of the box to provide a great experience. She took my step mom out for ice cream, bought her find a word and coloring books. Cindy was readily available by text or phone. Her staff is carefully screened and her turnover is very low because she cares and pays them well. The difference between her company and others are many.

I hired Heart Matters for probably a different reason than most people utilize their services for. I needed short term help with my elderly father -- getting him to appointments, making sure he had food, and was taken care of for several hours a few days a week - until I could get him moved to a safer place. I really needed help as I was the only person caring for him and have my own family to care for as well. They were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to help me. They were kind and compassionate and I now have a company in place to help with any future needs my dad may have. I
