Hands that are special Individuals who are bed ridden due to illness or accident can use Non-Emergency Medical Transportation's bed to bed transportation service. These people are unable to place any weight on their legs or bend their legs to descend the stairs. In both situations, walking and climbing up and down stairs is inconvenient or impractical.
Non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Programs provided by VA Healthcare Transportation provide a wide variety of transportation and support services for those suffering from chronic illnesses, who are injured, chronically or terminally ill, who need assistance with critical transportation. Approximately 70% of those who use NEMT programs are 65 or older, and/or impaired.
We decided to come up with an approach to assist and represent the needs of our seniors, given the growing elderly population and the difficulty of medical-wheelchair transportation. Our transportation programmes are tailored to address the unique needs of the elderly who are vulnerable and/or immobile.

We highly recommend this company, very professional, great service which exceeded our expectation.
My father-in-law called us at 4pm yesterday saying he needed a ride to an outpatient surgery the following morning at 7:15 am. We couldn't provide this for him and searched for a company that could. This is the best transportation company i have ever used! They made the process so easy for me- i was able to schedule a pick up for my mother so quickly and efficiently. Mustafa and Mohamed are a joy to work with and are so kind and caring. I felt incredibly safe and comfortable leaving my mother in their hands. I’ve had a really great experience with the owners of this company. I scheduled this service for my uncle because I was unable to take him to his doctors appointment one day. I’m usually weary about medical transportation rides due to random cancellations and overall unreliable service. I was told about VA Healthcare Transportation by a neighbor that told me they had a great experience. So I decided to schedule a ride with them and my uncle told me the process was very smooth. Nothing but great things to say about VA Healthcare Transportation. They went above and beyond to make sure my mother and I had a safe, comfortable, and timely ride to and from her appointment. The driver even stopped and got her coffee. We used the service 2 days in a row and the service was great each time. Mohammad and Mustafa (if I misspelled I apologize) are very friendly and made sure our needs were met even when there was a bit of confusion that had nothing to do with them. I recommended this transport service to any one who may be in need of good quality service from all around good people

Great services!!!! When I tell you Muhammad was extremely professional and helpful. My client is in a wheelchair and she needs a little extra assistance and Muhammad was happy to help. He was so professional and nice like a breath of fresh air. The van was clean and very comfortable. He waited for us until the appointment was over. The doctor was actually running behind we called and informed him and he was very understanding. I would definitely recommend them their service is impeccable.

Virginia healthcare transportation has helped my mother to her medical appointment. They were on time, professional, courteous. They prices are very reasonable and no hitting fees except the agreement pricing as promised. They have gone the extra mile for my mom to take care to errands before she was returned to her nursing home with no additional charges. I have dealt with a lot of different transportation companies in this area and by far I recommend this company hands-down. From the first phone call at 10 PM at night they were able to respond and book our appointment on the same day.
