Our stay wasn't long, but even so this motel was memorable. The bathroom has been remodeled in our family suite and it was spacious, which was perfect for three adults and two kids. It was very clean and so close to everything, not to mention the price was great! There were rockers on the porch with tree stumps as tables. Super cute and there is an incredible view of the mountains.
The trip to Harrah's was only about 25 minutes, which wasn't bad at all either. We will definitely come back during the "on" season when everything is open! It was rainy out so we didn&apos

Clean, clean and clean. The owners are extraordinary and very hospitality minded. The location is central and directly across from the festival Grounds which makes it convenient to everything. A must stay in Maggie Valley

We stayed there this past weekend for Thunder in the Smokies bike rally. It is right across the street from the Grounds where they hold the event. The hotel is an older one, but has been renovated and it was very clean! Our room had updated bathroom with hair dryer, newer tile floors, plenty of space to put your bathrooms toiletries etc.

Comfortable Beds with pillow tops. The best part was being able to walk right out your front door to your Bike. The websites states that a restaurant is on the grounds but unfortunately it was closed, appears another restaurant is coming soon per the sign. So

Stayed here one night when weather turned really bad while traveling through. The hotel staff was very friendly and the price was quite reasonable. Room was very clean, some previous reviews complain that it is outdated. Maybe they think everything should be brand new. Well I feel the room was nicer than a lot of newer hotels, cleaner and just as well equipped. I'll definitely consider returning when in this area.

Stayed here for one night after going on a last-minute ski trip to Cataloochee. Yes, the place is outdated, but so is every other motel in Maggie Valley and the price was very affordable (we paid just $50 for the night for a 2-bed room). Plus, the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. You could also easily walk to a few of the local restaurants which was nice. Would definitely consider staying here in the future!

Older motel in need of a update. We're talking the Brady Bunch may have stayed here.
Staff was very nice and when it got dark we had a small bon fire out by the pool.
Rooms are clean but as i stated it's just a older motel.
If your looking for a place to lay your head for a night or 2 this is the place.
I would seriously give the place 4 stars if it was updated and some of the rooms were remodled.

We have really enjoyed our stay here!! We stayed July 4th weekend and it definitely has a front row seat to the fireworks show!! We loved sitting in the rocking chairs watching the fireworks. We also loved the bonfire on Friday/Saturday nights. Rob and Gabby make you feel at home and the beds and room were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Decent price. True, the place is a bit dated. However, at the end of a heavy day of riding all I am looking for is a comfortable place to sleep and get ready for the next day. Easy walking distance of eateries.

The owners were friendly, very accommodating to bikers, suppling towels etc for bike clean up.

If you are looking for a place to just sleep, then this will fit the bill. This is a no frills motel in need of a bit of an update. We decided to stay after seeing they were #1 on Tripadvisor and we usually trust the reviews there.

Yes, the service is great and accommodating. Yes, the price is right. Yes, they are biker friendly. Yes, our room with 2 queen beds was quite large. But my main issue was just that it seemed rundown. Now I don't know anything about running a hotel and obviously the folks @ A Holiday Motel are doing something right but for ME, I was looking for a bit more.
