Services
Warrenton Christian Preschool is a ministry of the Warrenton Church of Christ. We are committed to giving every child a nurturing, safe environment that fosters individual growth emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. We also strive to teach each child about God's love and respect for others.
Our academic curriculum is written by staff which will be under the oversight of our director. Our end goal is that each student will be introduced to the most positive learning experience possible as well as being more than prepared to succeed in the public school system. Assessments are done for students 3 times per year, September, December/January and April.
The Director and/or a staff member will be at the door to admit children from 8:55a.m. - 9:10a.m. For safety reasons, please do not drop off your child if no one is at the door. When a child is dropped off at the entrance, even when they are upset, they quickly adjust. It is easier on a child to leave than to be left.
We follow Fauquier County Public Schools policy for poor weather school closings and delayed openings. The following closing/delayed opening situations can be expected due to adverse weather or road conditions for Fauquier County Public Schools. Beside each is the impact it will have for Warrenton Christian Preschool.
Dress code is Preschool comfortable casual. Please make sure that your child can manipulate their clothing themselves (to allow your child to use the restroom independently). When wearing dresses or skirts, girls should also wear shorts or tights underneath to help teach and maintain modesty. Please do not send your child to school in clothing that you do not want ruined by messy arts and crafts.
