Alpine Country Inn & Suites provide private and secluded home features two bedrooms, two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room (Must bring your own Bath Towels). This place is adorable, clean, and cost effective. The owners are really attentive, even asked if we needed help getting our motorcycle off the truck. The hotel has two gazebos, a pool, a fire pit, and a cozy lobby with daily coffee to grab in the am. We were looking for a retreat for the weekend and this place was perfect. We will be back for sure!

My family stayed here when we came for the Ironman in 2013. I did not hesitate to reserve a room here again when I returned with my (larger) family again this year. Bill and Judy are wonderful hosts, great with kids, fun to chat with and about as friendly as they come. The rooms were perfect and exactly what we needed. In my opinion this place is worth the short drive from Lake Placid. Highly recommend!

The photos for this place totally don't represent how awesome this place is! Rooms are comfy and cozy.The owners are super nice and the rooms are very very clean. There's less amenities than you would find at a bigger hotel, but for the price they're definitely meeting and exceeding my expectations on all levels! Judy and her husband are very nice and accommodating.

These guys go above and beyond. One of my genius friends lost the keys to the rental car while we were skiing at Whiteface, and the owners Bill and Judy personally gave us rides back from the resort and back to the resort the next morning to pick up the keys from lost and found. It was also a really nice setup and we'd definitely love to come back!

Great motel, clean, fresh coffee, but the real treasure here is Judy, the owner (never met Bill).
I was in dire straights after a treacherous climb on Whiteface, and Judy showed the utmost hospitality in my moment of need. She even gave me a lift back to where my gear was located due to my ankle being injured.
She is a real gem.
Would recommend.
