Services
The Blodgett Company is an established specialty manufacturer with a proven record for quality and reliability. Stewart Blodgett built his first scale for Tobin Packing of Rochester, New York in 1958, while working for ACF Industries. This scale was fitted to a bacon slicing machine where it needed to provide accurate weights while being shaken by the machine's eccentric blade.
The OMNI series machines can be configured for both dry and liquid fill applications using scales, augers, volumetric as well as liquid fill pumps. The OMNI series can be configured for either polyethylene or polypropylene films as well as most laminates, including metallic faced films. Bag makers can be supplied with either fin seal or lap seal forming collars.
The Blodgett OMNI 3 premade pouch machine is designed for years of dependable service while ensuring durability through a simple and rugged design. The OMNI 3 process starts with up to 300 empty pouches placed in the adjustable cassette. Bags are individually removed from the cassette with a unique combination of vacuum and pneumatic actuators.
The Blodgett Weight Miser IV is our computer controlled combination weigher using the latest in mathematical calculations for high speed accurate weights. Product is metered into each of the upper weigh hoppers, and a snap shot of the weight is made of each bucket. Product is transferred to the lower pool hopper and the value of the weight is stored in the computer.
