Services
Our programs for children 18 months through and including Transitional Kindergarten, are designed to provide appropriate play experiences and thrills with a fresh approach to the developmental needs of preschool children. A variety of Half Day and Full day options are available to meet every family's needs.
At The Little School, our primary goals are to instill a love of learning and a positive self image. The Little School's educational program has been very carefully designed to enrich each child's development and enhance their intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth. We are dedicated to educating each child for a life of self-direction, intellectual curiosity and healthy interdependence with others.
The Little School of Waldwick is licensed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Youth and Family Services. All of our staff have met the qualifications of the state, have had background checks and fingerprinting. Our dedicated educational staff is made up of experienced personnel in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Adventure and discovery awaits the young explorer who ventures through our classrooms. Walking through each classroom you see innovative learning materials that develop self-expression and pre-academic skills. Our classrooms are very well equipped to make academic preparation fun for everyone!
The Little School of Waldwick has five thematic classrooms: A large spacious indoor gym, a math and language arts room with it's own little library, a science room, a creative play room, and an arts and crafts room.In addition to our specialty rooms our outdoor play area completes your child's home away from home.

Take a peek at all of the fun students had during Orientation! Seeing old friends and meeting new ones, Little School of Waldwick students had a blast on the playground, in the play room, using paint, making colorful creations and much more! For our final week of Summer Camp, Little Schoolers found their magic lamps and took a trip with Jasmine and Aladdin on a magic carpet ride!

The Little School is a wonderful school that has exceeded my expectations for over 4 years that my children have been enrolled. It is such a nurturing environment that allows for academics to flourish all while maintaining a fun and happy atompsphere for the kids . My children are always excited to go to school supported by regular comments “I love school” “I love my friends” . I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking a safe , clean , nurturing environment all which support early learning .

We've been with the little school for over 3 years and it's been such a wonderful experience! The teachers and the owners are amazing, nurturing people who try to make every day special. It's a warm, fun and educational environment for the little ones. My daughter loves going there and is telling something new she's learned every day! Also, the school has the most beautiful murals on the walls! We love everything about the little school!!!

This school is the best place for young children as they teach them all the necessary scholastic programs that get them ready for elementary school. Mary and her daughter Anna, along with their staff work very hard to provide top education and their place is filled with amazing recreational activities for children of pre kindergarten ages. I highly recommend a visit to this fantastic school.
