We here at ACTION MARINE of Austin Texas want to introduce ourselves. Action Marine has been providing quality boat service and sales in Austin since 1987. Aaron Sher started Action Marine because while on a short trip to Austin to visit a friend he quickly realized the need for a quality boat dealership around Lake Travis, Lake Austin and the surrounding Texas hill country that was focused on service.
Our boat technicians are factory trained as well as having many years of firsthand knowledge. The motors of today are so computerized that it is imperative that technicians stay current on factory training and that the dealership have the necessary diagnostic equipment and software. It is just as important that technicians have hands on experience and know when to go back to the basics.
We place weekly orders with many different vendors so when you do have to order a part we can get it for you right away (usually within 1-3 days). If you are not exactly sure what the best part or item for your application is we can help with that as well. Our entire staff has been in the boating industry for for over 20 years with the know how to help you pick the right part for the job.

Edit: Owner did contact me in regards to fixing the issue. I have since decided to take my business elsewhere. When you hire someone to fix your boat, car, or even motorcycle you have faith and trust that when the shop says they fixed an issue, that it is fixed. If I took my truck to a shop and they didn't fix my brakes, this would certainly be unacceptable. Well the same thing happened here at this shop, I took my boat to this shop trusting the expertise of the shop. When they released the boat back to me, I trusted the shops work and took my children out to the lake the following weekend and

Great service, always fair pricing. I've been a returning customer for more than 15 years. I have my boat serviced during the winter; and, as a regular customer I receive priority service if ever I need it during the boating season. My boat has never failed me; I attribute that to service Action Marine provides. Great folks, I highly recommend this business.

I've been bringing my boat to this shop for a few years now. They have always taken care of the boat and are honest about the work needing to be done. I always get my boat back in top notch shape. The people who work here aren't the best in customer service department however. Not very friendly on the phone but hey, I'm getting top notch work done on my boat and thats mainly what I care about.

This place is an absolute disgrace. After calling ahead of time and describing my problem of the fuel pump not getting any power I was told to bring my boat in. First I was greeted very rudely and told to stay in my car. Second the only things they did was complain about the work and say they "couldn't make enough money to work on it." What was an… urgent matter over the phone now turned into "I can't look at it for another month." I drove over an hour for this shop and had high hopes. PLEASE STAY AWAY! They overcharge and have terrible customer service.

Owning a boat can be costly, but if you service your boat on a regular basis and use Action Marine for regular maintenance, you can avoid costly repairs. These guys know boats, and have many years of experience working on all types of watercraft. My personal experience with Action Marine has always been on point. I have been using these guys for a few years, always been great service. I live in New Braunfels, and thought I would try local guy instead of dragging boat to Austin, didn’t work out was about to buy new outboard motor because guy said it was computer problem. I have a 98 JOHNSON FICHT, just replace the I in ficht with a U. I picked it up took it… to Action Marine for second opinion and possibly to Repower. No problem they fixed it fast, collapsed fuel line and spark plugs! I will always use these guys no matter how far away I am. Straight up people. Thank you! Headed to POC for weekend

Craig and Aaron went above and beyond to get us a boat for rescue work in Houston after Harvey. Their hearts to lend a hand to people in need was really great. Since then their attention to warranty work and eagerness to answer any question I have about the boat has been above expectations. The SeaArk fishing jet boat I bought is really top notch. So tough, functional and easy to use. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again and again.

Seamless process buying a boat! We weren't sure what boat we wanted, and Aaron was extremely helpful focusing our thoughts. His advice was extremely useful and we ended up buying a boat in less than 15 minutes. we opted for a few upgrades and picked up the boat a few days later.The following weekend we were on the lake and having a lot of fun water skiing and exploring. Action Marine will definitely get all our business and we highly recommend them.

From start to finish, a great experience. The Landau boat is well made and the Suzuki engine - fast and quiet. My wife and our three kids love our boat! The techs at Action Marine are very skilled. They were able to get our 496 Mercruiser running like new! They are very honest and were very straight about costs and time. When we picked the boat up, the owner was there to help us get on the road safely - even helping us get the trailer lights squared away. We recommend Action Marine highly!

Parts department had visually looked at a cable i needed , and sounded so confidant like he's the best, then turns out new part was way to short , had to make numerous long distance trips , and management kept complaining about 20$ dollars to have the new part FedEx to me, "oh so you rather have a paying customer keep driving back and forth for a mistake that wasn't even mine. pendejos
