Two members of our cleaning and homecare staff inspect the home after the guest departs. This is our staff most familiar with the home and its contents. We remove the garbage, inspect the home, and make any necessary repairs (or arrange for repairs if needed).
We track our list of repairs/replacements in software that we share with our guest services manager and handy men-so we all have visibility into action items required and status of repairs for the home.Repairs for accidental damage caused by the guest will be submitted to insurance for coverage. Bijou's Best is REALLY the best! Being kid and dog friendly were key for our stay. We rang in the new year in this beautiful and cozy home in a quiet neighborhood close to all amenities South Lake Tahoe has to offer!. Overall, 5 stars, 2 thumbs and 4 paws up! I booked a reservation a year in advance. I have been harassed by a RNR Representative (Kat)
to verbally confirm my reservation. When asked WHY they have to confirm ASAP (I’m home sick with Covid, it’s been two days) Kat said I was being abusive for asking questions and canceled my reservation because “she can”. It’s disgustingly unprofessional and simply rude the way I was treated. Wouldn’t even let me speak to the manager or Owner. AirBnB will be notified as well as the Owner of the rental property. The harassment and now cancellation is unacceptable and uncalled for! Repeated negative

Excellent management company -- on top of all the latest local laws, helpful tech devices and anything that needs to be fixed in the house -- provides regular updates and clear accounting of everything going in or out... Wish we had worked with them earlier instead of going through subpar local companies that constantly charge for nonexisting items, sneak in renters without paying the owners, underreport rental collection and/or repeatedly forget to lock the front door after cleaning.

I initially reached out to RnR Vacation Rentals to book a weekend trip in South Lake Tahoe. Kat was the individual who responded to my inquiry in regard to a rental we wanted to book. She began asking weird questions and wanting to know the age of each person on the trip, from where I come from these questions are illegal to ask and insinuate that she was attempting to discriminate based on age and familial status. One of my best decisions ever was to pick RnR vacation rentals as the property manager for my south lake Tahoe condo. Originally, I had no idea who to select as a property manager as there are many to choose. From the initial interview/meeting with Stu/Diana, I could tell they are very conscientious, very friendly and nice, hard-working, and know their business very well. Since I got my original condo in 2018, the care that they give the condo is phenomenal. They take care of the condo like it was their own and treat both owners/renters with extreme care. We are the owners of Wintershire at South Tahoe and I can highly recommend RNR Vacation Rentals as a property management company. Stu and Diana are very conscientious. They have made sure we and our guests have not been fined by the city and have kept us on good terms with our neighbors. They have automated temperature and noise monitoring. They have maintained our home in excellent condition and if there is damage caused by guests, the guests have been held accountable. Duckhook Lodge is a beautifully appointed home and perfect for a girls getaway week in South Lake Tahoe! The wonderful location on the golf course is close to town yet quiet and comfortable. The home was spotless, well stocked and had very comfortable beds. RnR replied promptly when we asked for a yoga studio recommendation and accommodated our early check in request. The owners clearly take pride in their home and it shows inside and out! We plan to book again for future reunions.

Duckhook Lodge was fabulous! It was the perfect place for our relaxing “Girls Weekend Getaway”. The home was spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could possible need. The property provided much needed peace and quiet while still being close to all the activities of South Lake Tahoe. Hope to bring the entire family here next year!

I want to thank Stu for taking responsibility for RnR mishandling accommodating a rescheduling as a result of the storm and contacting me directly. He was sincerely apologetic and sympathized with our expereience. Based on our conversation, RnR changed their policy and allowed us to reschedule our trip. Our trip in March was amazing. The house was beautiful and had more than everything that we needed. We will definitely use their services again in the future. Not sure why my review got moved to a not recommended review given it is a 100% accurate review that I believe renters should know prior to booking. People can still book with RnR but they should at least be informed.
I was looking to rent a home in South Lake Tahoe from RnR and when going through the booking process and reviewing the rental agreement came across the following statement, "While Lessor will engage in reasonable efforts to notify Occupant beforehand, no prior notice shall be required and Occupant's non-permission shall not preclude entry". I find it highly offensive

RnR has provided our happiest renting experience over 6 years of renting in So Lake Tahoe. We have rented from several of the other property management groups in town and have been shocked by some of the mismanagement we have encountered.
We have already booked with RnR for August 2019. Can't imagine that we would ever rent a property that wasn't managed by RnR.
Every phone or email contact with RnR was very friendly and so professional. Also, their rental forms can be completed on line - very quick and easy to do. Really, a 6 star experience all around.

My family stayed at the house on Capri and had the absolute best vacation ever. The house was perfect for our large family. Grandma enjoyed the large room on the bottom floor and the views from the master upstairs were unbelievable. Our kids loved being on the water and the large living area made it very comfortable.
Stu was wonderful to work with and catered to any need we had (pack n play for the baby, help figuring out the bbq). I highly recommend RNR vacation rentals and the house on Capri was amazing (Windows on the Water).

I booked an Airbnb through RnR but had to cancel the very next day. Normally there is a cancelation fee but we explained the circumstances and RnR was very understanding and made sure we were fully reimbursed. Overall it was a great experience working with them and we hope to stay with them next time we're in Tahoe.

Christmas in South Shore Lake Tahoe! RnR vacation rentals was wonderful to work with. Excellent communication from them ... very prompt responses. House was exactly as represented in the marketing materials. Clean, high quality linens and towels, kitchen was stocked with quality dishes, glassware, pots & pans and utensils. We called them (on Christmas Eve) to inquire about a maintenance issue ... phone support was great and the facilities staff that came were prompt, professional and very polite. We have booked for next year and highly recommend RnR rentals!

Be warned. If you sign up for the insurance, RnR will blame you for any damage that may have been in the home before you arrived or caused by their cleaning crew. The home was beautiful and clean but the accusation of damaging and denting the refrigerator after we left was just a little suspicious.

I love visiting Tahoe and always book with RnR Vacation Rentals. When going with the whole family, Windows on the Water provides the perfect family home with lots to do. When it's just a getaway with my husband we like to take advantage of the smaller cozier places like Craig's cozy cabin. You can't go wrong, they have so many homes to choose from and the customer service is the best I have ever experienced!
