We are a small, intimate, comfortable lake front resort on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. The Beachcomber Inn's 17 suites & 4 studios all have panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and distant mountains. All units have private decks, kitchens, free WiFi, and TVs. Common areas include a large outdoor deck with BBQ's, indoor hot tub & sauna, exercise equipment, and a lounge with a pool table, games, & kitchen.
The beautiful Beachcomber Inn property is situated on 200 feet of Lake Tahoe's south shore. We have a variety of options for a great and comfortable stay in Lake Tahoe. Some units have gas fireplaces. ALL units have stunning lake views. Lake view, fireplace, balcony overlooks pool, one queen Murphy bed (wall bed), one queen sofa airbed, convenience kitchen, and one bathroom.

This is a funky older place right on the lake. The location could not be better. While the complex suffers from some deferred maintenance, we enjoyed our unit which allowed us to step off our lanai/ patio right onto a small beach and into the lake. The lanai/ patio is large and great for people and sunset watching. The units have full kitchens and plenty of BBQs for guests to use. Right next door is a nice park where you can rent water toys like kayaks, SUPs, and the like. Overall great little place near downtown South Lake Tahoe.

Excellent hotel/condo on the shore of South Lake Tahoe. This is exactly the kind of place you would want to stay at for a relaxing vacation in Tahoe, especially with a family. Our room was clean and in decent condition. It was a lower level room directly at the water's edge. From the sliding glass door there was 15 feet of patio, then a railing, gate, and a small stairway down to the water. You can't get closer to the lake!
We loved the kitchen and sofa. The table was great for projects and homework. Especially nice we're the private Wi-Fi and the video library in the office. It was great to relax

Great lakeside resort. I had read previous reviews about unit W and how people were displeased with the lack of a balcony and lake view. I have to disagree. We found a discounted rate and actually expected to get that room because of it. The room was clean and spacious and because most of the other units have balconies, we had the deck downstairs to ourselves to watch the sunset and have a cocktail. It was delightful. The location is great as well. Far enough from the casinos to actually enjoy the lake.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber Inn. This place is truly a gem. The family story of the Inn is very heartwarming. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. I have a disability and we stayed in the handicapped room This room did not have a roll in shower ( there are bars in the shower) but there is another room that does. The staff provided a bath chair so I was able to sit in the shower. We have stayed here before and noticed that there have been many improvements. Very dog friendly and gas fire pits on the patio. The best part of this place is that just out the door from our room

I got one of the large rooms for a family trip and it was very spacious, has a well setup full kitchen and provides plenty of cookware, also don't be afraid of using the futon bed, as it's an air mattress that works in a futon and was quite comfortable!. It's well located (~5 min from heavenly village), and right near the water. There is a small private beach and pier on the water as well as an outdoor pool and hot tub (seasonal) and an indoor hot tub and dry sauna, workout room, they have DVD borrowing and a nice community lounge area. They do ask you to go to their timeshare presentation but

A place perfect for two, a small kitchenette with practically everything you would need to cook and eat. The room was right by the lake giving us a fantastic view of the frozen lake. We could not have chosen a better place to experience the ice and snow of Lake Tahoe. Highly recommended for people on a budget but the desire for a close to nature experience!
