The Next Step School of Dance faculty members are certified dance educators with numerous years of teaching, certification, and national tour experience. Faculty members continually study by attending conventions and workshops so they may bring the latest trends in dance to their students.
Our staff takes pride in the accomplishments of their students who perform for local benefits, take top honors in local competitions, and even moved on to the Broadway stage!They are also equally as proud of their recreational dancers who perform on the stage for the very first time, or just get the step they've been working on for weeks, and, of course the students who get great joy out of dancing!

Services
I would like to sincerely thank all of our dancers and their parents for their continued support and loyalty. As we begin a new dance season, the faculty, staff and myself are looking forward to an exciting season. As educators, we continue to bring the latest in dance to our students and strive to guide each student on "their personal goal".
How long am I signing up for? Our season for Dance Academy & Teen Classes runs from September through June with an end of the year Recital. We do offer six week classes throughout the season, however, they do not perform in the Recital. Does dancewear need to be purchased at the studio? For our Dance Academy color-coded classes we require dancers to wear a leotard purchased at the studio, pink tights and the proper shoes.
At The Next Step School of Dance, the health and safety of our staff, students, and families have always been our highest priority! As an affiliated member of More Than Just Great Dancing! we are following the Safer Studio Guidelines, which prioritize a hierarchy of safety and wellness measures including:.
As the upcoming season approaches, the safety of our students, our staff, and their families continue to be at the forefront of our mission. This has only been amplified with the onset of recent events. We have been working all summer long to make The Next Step School of Dance a More Than Just Great Dancing Safer Studio.

The Next Step School of Dance is not only a dance studio, but a second home for students and families. The staff is loving, caring and dedicated to providing the best dance education for their students. The studio is a More Than Just Great Dancing Studio and provides life lessons for dancers from toddlers through their graduating Seniors. They are a community that I will always want to be part of.

This is my daughters 2nd year at NSSD and she absolutely loves it !! The staff is amazing, professional and very caring! We love our dance instructor Miss Julie ❤️ !! The owner Mrs. Bonnie is very caring and understanding. She treats her staff and our dancers like Family. This dance school is a place I would highly recommend to anyone !!

When my family and I were looking for a new dance studio for our 2 children I called Next Step School of Dance. They invited my children to each participate in a free class (my son tried hip hop and my daughter jazz). The teachers were welcoming and kind and when we left the dance studio that day they both couldn’t wait to go back! We’ve been with Next Step School of Dance for 3 years and couldn’t be happier! Dance has brought out such a confidence in my son and he found something he truly loves in his hip hop classes. My daughter started with 1 class and now eagerly and anxiously awaits

We absolutely love The Next Step School of Dance. Not only do they care about each and every student they also go out of their way to keep dancers engaged even while classes are not running through fun challenges over social media, coloring pages and much more. Every teacher and staff member is extremely professional and knows every dancer by name. The staff keeps parents informed and up to date with everything going on with the studio as well as keeping us updated on their covid practices. The studio is always clean and welcoming for dancers and parents alike. I cannot say enough how much we recommend

My daughter has been a student for ten years taking ballet, tap, and lyrical. She loves her teachers and I love the professionalism and safety at the studio. My daughter has progressed each year in her ability and confidence and I see the technique and original choreography in each number. The costumes are beautiful and the recitals top notch. Also very budget friendly and the staff is amazing. They are thorough, thoughtful, and engaging.They have boy classes too! If you dance for the love of the art or are looking for joining a competition team, I would highly recommend The Next Step School of

We absolutely love NSSD. My daughter has been going since she was 18 mos old. All the teachers are amazing and kind. My daughter looks forward to dancing with her friends every week. I think the school did an amazing job with adjusting after COVID - virtual classes, cleaning after every class, enforcing 6 feet distance. My daughter will be going for years to come.
