Services
A form of alternative medicine involving thin needles inserted into the body at acupuncture points. Use of glass/plastic/porcelain cups to create a local suction on the surface of the skin to mobilize blood flow to promote healing. The discussion between practitioner and client on the use of Chinese grown herbs that come in the form of teas, extracts, and formulas.
There are a number of conditions in which TCM can help with. This would be determined based on what it is you are being seen for and the treatment plan. Depending on the treatment, you will be asked to get comfortable either face up or face down on the treatment table. The practitioner will guide you through the treatment plan for that session.

Jessica is amazing! She's very responsive to your issues, really listens, and doesn't try to upsell you a bunch of stuff (I've had that happen with other acupuncturists - herbs, etc). My back and neck are much happier since meeting her! Ambiance Day Spa is a great location - having her in the neighborhood is event better. If you ever thought about acupuncture but were afraid of the needles - think again! You won't regret it.

I was referred to Feather & Leaf Acupuncture for the back tightness I would get on my daily walks. I was hesitant at first and i found, through my own referrals after my visit, that many tend to be of these methods of healing. I was approached with a warm welcome by my now, oftenly frequented, Acupuncturist Jessica. If her warm greeting doesn't put you at ease, the lavender scented room, cucumber water, and just plain peaceful ambiance of the room most definitely will! I expressed to her my reluctance to come that day before we discussed my ailments and she was very receptive and understanding

I had some back pain from a car accident about 10 years ago that dominated my life. I was referred to Feather and Leaf acupuncture to see if it would help. Being a little fearful of needles, Jessica the acupuncturist assured me that I would feel no more than a pinch if that. After the treatment I felt better not knowing if it was my mind playing tricks on me, but a week later I had realized that I had no pain. No pain!!! 10 years of suffering gone with one visit! She cares about you and your medical issues-physical and emotional. She listens to you, her treatment is specific to your needs. The atmosphere at Feather & Leaf Acupuncture is friendly, caring, calming. I went in for treatment feeling stressed by pain. During therapy, I went into an incredibly relaxed state. I left feeling better than I had in such a long time. My pain was drastically reduced which in turn calmed my stress level.
