Services
Inserting fine sterilized needles into the acupuncture points or trigger points in various depths increases metabolism and circulation of painful area. Also, it alerts the immune system and sedates inflammation at the site. Because acupuncture insertion uses mostly local points, it is effective for treating musculoskeletal issues.
Constitution is a person's physical state with regard to vitality, health, and strength. Each individual's constitution expresses differently in physiology and pathology. The constitutional medicine focuses on this individual difference; specially, it focuses on your twelve important organs which directly affect on your life cycle.
Hepatonia Body Type people are healthy when they sweat a lot, however when they are weak, they do not sweat. Their body feels lighter when they sweat from various activities: that is because their constitution requires a lot of perspiration. Therefore, enjoying hot baths all the time is a good practice for your health.
Cholecystonia individuals have bowel movements frequently, but this symptom has nothing to do with the condition of their health. When they are not healthy, they experience certain conditions such as an uneasy feeling around their navel, low body temperature, and sleeping problems. Because they have weak emotions, they are easily affected by other people's words.
Pancreotnia constitution's health is so directly related to it's tendency to be quick-tempered that it's health practice should always be to keep your poise and not to hurry. Although your constitution has strong digestive powers, you should avoid food that does not suit your constitution. Alcohol and cold baths are detrimental.

My husband and I both sought care from Dr. MJ, though we had never had Acupuncture. He had such great reviews we decided to try this ancient form of treatment. I was so amazed that my husband, who had an acute herniated disc that pain medicine only masked, left the office walking upright with minimal pain. The wonderful team of Dr. MJ and Therapist Daniel are warm, friendly and knowledgable. I also received treatment for sinus infection that was more effective than 3 rounds of antibiotics! I visited the practice for excruciating sciatic pain that suddenly appeared a few days ago. I could barely walk into the office because of the pain, but I was able to walk out feeling 50% better. And by the next morning I was 95% better. After this wonderful experience, I can't wait to continue visiting this practice and taking advantage of acupuncture and cupping. I've been going to MJ for about 4 months now and I recommend MJ and Daniel. I woke up with a back pain one morning and I couldn't walk but after a visit, I was able to walk with less pain. The combination of acupressure and acupuncture helped me heal and relax.
Now it has been fully healed. Since then, I've been going there biweekly to maintain my back from tensing up from long commutes.
They also take my insurance and parking is easy.
I recommended them to my husband, friends, and family members and they all loved them. :)

I'm very happy and blessed to have found MJ acupuncture , Dr Mj and Dan are very good at what they do and always going out that extra mile to make sure I leave feeling at 100%.
I used to have doubts about acupuncture and deep tissue massage but thanks to there extraordinary service they prove me wrong. I do come very often and always greeted with a smile and I'm always seen right away. I would highly recommend this place 2 thumbs up!!!

I recommend MJ Yi highly. He is a highly skilled and professional acupuncturist, yet his demeanor is friendly and approachable. He truly cares about his patients' well being. Over the past 30 years, I have had treatments from three acupuncturists, and MJ is outstanding. He has treated me for problems stemming from a car accident as well as a chronic issue. Several months ago I woke up with severe shoulder and neck pain on my right side. I thought it would go away in a few days but just kept getting worse. I was taking strong pain meds every 4 hours just to get by and couldn't even sleep comfortably. So I went to MJ and they recommended a acupuncture treatment. What a difference I felt 2 days later. Just total relief. They were nice to see me during my lunch break which is their lunch break. How caring is that. It's a clean new office and they are very professional and overall an awesome group of people. I will continue to go back.

I thought I was at my wits end mentally because of work exhaustion, but after a few visits to see Dr. Yi, I've somehow found more energy to keep preserving.
I've also had post surgery frozen shoulder and was told that my 90-95% ROM would be as best as it would get. But Daniel somehow has pushed my shoulder closer to its normal ROM than any other physical therapist have done.
The combo between Dr. Yi and Daniel is something everyone needs to give a try!

I've tried it all, my last doctor told me I had tendinitis and that only pain meds would help. Desperate for some form of relief of my shoulder and lower back I went to doctor Yi. Between him and "daniel" I can now move my arm (shoulder) with no pain! My back has never felt so good and I feel I am on my way to a painless day! I'm also a believer now and wish I had tried this a few years ago. It will take a few sessions and making sure you tell him where the pain is is key.

They have helped me so much after my work accident and my pain from 3 fractured vertebrae and an AC Seperation. Their care is genuine and I greatly appreciate how they are not stingy with their time and care. I have been to many acupuncturists and by far they are my favorite. Additionally, I normally very sensitive and don't enjoy deep message. I visited Dr. MJ because I was diagnosed with shingles. Though I'd been on antiviral medication and had been treating the dermatological symptoms, I continued to feel weaker than normal and my digestive system seemed to be making no improvement. I've been going to MJ Acupuncture for the past several months because of severe wrist pain and later neck/shoulder pain. I can't say enough positive stuff about them. They are so incredibly nice, patient, and effective. My wrist is so much better (now just getting tune ups). Lol. I had an emergency neck pain (slept weird?) and it was so painful and I could barely move my neck--they took me in the same day! I was so grateful! I was having lower back pain for a year. I was so unhappy I could not work out any more and sleep. I went in for my first appointment on a Monday by Wednesday I was pain free. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!

I've been going to this clinic for a few weeks now. I've had knots and stiffness in my neck due to being at a computer for many hours every day. The acupuncture and acupressure therapy massage has helped to relieve a lot of tension so far and I feel great! Dr Yi and Daniel are talented and experienced. Best part is they take my insurance.
