Packing up your life and relocating to a new home and place can be overwhelming. Our moving company offers comprehensive services to meet any and all of your moving needs.
We typically start jobs from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, but we'll do whatever we can to accomodate your schedule, elevator reservation times, etc. Please choose the best times for you, but if our start times work, please default to those.
Every job is different, but most have the same features -- the distance between your front door and our truck (if applicable), stairs, elevators, etc. We've tracked these factors on thousands of jobs, and can now build solid estimates on them.We know that estimating your box count before you've begun packing is difficult, so your best initial guess is fine.

We keep it simple by charging a flat hourly rate for our services. Please note that for the vast majority of our jobs we charge a minimum. This allows us to take on a certain number of moves each day and do them carefully and efficiently. Piano, pool table, gym equipment, large appliances and other oversized items that require special handling.

DC Moving was on time and on point with their estimated quote. They came on time to our apartment and finished in at a responsible time. The only reason why I gave four stars because one of items were a little damaged. It was not big deal but still a little annoying. Everything else was a breeze, I would definitely hire them again.

Outstanding service and value. I've been moved by corporate many times and this was my first out of pocket. I was amazed at the low price and quality of service. The workers are very skilled, polite and hardworking. I was moved from 4 story townhome with no elevator with relative ease. Ask for Julia or Lilit. I highly recommend them for your next move.

Overall, I was happy with the movers. Julia from the office was very responsive and managed expectations. The movers arrived a little late, but they let me know. Plus I needed some extra time packing. They were very efficient and strong. The drive from Baltimore to Fairfax took longer than I expected but we got stuck in a lot of traffic, too. Either way, we were just happy that the move went smoothly. An excellent value! Good job guys!

Used them twice for a local move and a long distance move. The individual who books the workers for you is extremely responsive and explains prices in detail. Those who were moving the items didn't take those lengthy breaks that lasts for an hour or break every fifteen minutes which is common on some other affordable moving companies. Everyone including the lead was assisting and they were awesome! My tv and portable fireplace wasn't wrapped and they were able to protect it for me using their spare items on hand. Can't thank them enough for their hard work!

I just completed having DC Moving move my house. They did show up about 20 minutes late...however, they did call me ahead of time to inform me of this. Once they arrived, they immediately went to work. They completed the job in about 4 hours...that's including having to drive from Fort Washington to Haymarket. One that we did thet helped ahead of time...buy yourself some 40 gallon containers with wheels. It makes like so much easier for the movers. (Like the ones shown in the pic). I would hire them again.

I hired DC moving company to load things from my home in Maryland into an ABF freight truck. The truck would then travel to California where it would be unloaded by a different moving company.
I hired DC moving with the main objection of protecting my items for the move. I took it upon myself to buy my own moving blankets, shrink wrap, and bubble wrap for them to protect our items. Once the items were loaded into the truck, a wooden plank is placed after my items and no one is able to touch my items. (pictured in the first photo). I placed a lock on that plank and I am the only one with the key

I received a call when they were 20 mins out. They arrived w/ their masks already on and were as friendly as can be. Together, we assessed what needed to go, signed the paperwork and they instantly got to work.
They worked continuously and were very efficient.
Their prices are fantastic as well. A local moving company wanted to charge me $1,500 and they came in at 1/2 the price. I will definitely use them again in the future. I would also highly recommend them.
