Colleen Ortiz is the business partner and wife of Dr. Ortiz. Colleen is the Office Manager for Lit Dental Esthetics & Implant Center. She is also the Financial and Organizational Manager for DentLit, a continuing education organization that she runs together with Dr. Ortiz. Colleen has a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Calstate LA, a MA in Ethnomusicology from Boston University, and a MA in Education from Northeastern University.
Say goodbye to biting on impression material for several minutes, having a numb mouth and jaw ache. At Lit Dental Esthetics and Implant Center, we have a camera that can capture your full dentition in seconds and then transfer this to the computer to fabricate your restoration in the same appointment.
Prosthodontists have advanced training and are the only true American Dental Association recognized specialist in cosmetic dentistry, smile design, veneers, restoring and replacing teeth as well as full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Miguel A. Ortiz is a surgically-trained prosthodontist. He is consider by his peers to be one of the leaders of the dental treatment plan.

I “interviewed” 4 separate dentists for months before deciding on Dr. Ortiz for my veneers. After our first consultation I felt extremely comfortable in his care given his expertise and knew he would give me the natural result I was looking for. Dr. Castellucci was fast, skilled and attentive filling my molar after a root canal procedure (the endodontist she referred me to was excellent also). Assisting her, Natalie was efficient and competent during the procedure, and afterwards was able to switch my insurance and straighten out the bill in very short order. Couldn’t be more pleased.

As always, another great hygiene visit at LIT. My appointment today was with Carly. I have had many years of experience "in the chair" as I have been a periodontal patient for over 20 years. Hygiene every 3 months religiously. I have met more hygienists than I can count. Carly is special. I can always tell. Seriously, one of the best cleaning appointments I have had. Today I had an appointment at Lit Dental for a crown, I was extremely nervous most of the day anticipating how horrible it would be. I had a crown a few years back at another place so it was not my first rodeo!! I walked in and was greeted by my hygienist Carly. When is the last time you danced around your dentist's office? The music was so good, I couldn't resist. And Dr. Ortiz is one of the best dentists around--kind, patient, clear, and highly skilled. I trust his judgment and appreciate his work. The dental hygienists and staff are wonderful too. I saw Paige today for an excellent cleaning (after I stopped dancing) and a friendly conversation. It's great when a dental visit ends with bright, smooth teeth--and a smile.

Everything about our appointment went well and exceeded my expectations, including a timely checkin, a beautiful, state-of-the-art office, and excellent service. Our dental hygienist Paige took the time to sit down with my son and me before the cleaning to discuss his special needs and concerns. She had researched his unique condition earlier that morning. Then she gently took charge and had him laughing and chatting, while she did a thorough cleaning and a full set of X-rays. She was simply amazing! We will definitely return.

To begin it is important to note that I am a total dental headcase. I didn’t properly handle my dental needs for years. The staff at Lit Dental have been unbelievably patient, attentive, and caring as we work together to get my dental health back on track.
I will never look forward to going to the dentist, but because of Dr. Castellucci and the many skills assistants I have great experiences.
