Dr. Putt was raised in Norfolk, Massachusetts and attended Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood. After earning his degree from Boston College, he continued his education at Tufts Dental School, where he was awarded a Health Professions scholarship by the U.S. Army. During his time in the Army, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.

The hygenist are very professional and the entire procedure is very thorough using the latest equipment for all dental services
Dr Putts reviews all the patient's x-rays and consults with his patients on any issues identified by he or his staff.

I highly recommend Wayland Dental. The staff there are very professional and easy to talk to. The office is clean, bright and there is always relaxing music playing. Dr Putt and the hygienists are extraordinary. I have sensitive teeth which use to make me anxious. Now, I am no longer afraid! They do great work!

Dr. Putt's practice is state-of-the-art. He employs all the modern tools to do battle with that dental problem. He communicates during every step of a procedure, as to the plan and how it is going. He and his staff are genuinely caring professionals, including day-after follow up calls. I've always noted how meticulous he is in executing a filling, crown etc.

I decided to have Invisalign treatment with Wayland Dental. I was initially skeptical that my teeth could be straightened. I was 50yrs old and had had pretty crooked teeth for a long time. But I am extremely happy to report that after wearing the aligners for 20 weeks I now have perfectly straight teeth! If I could rate this dental practice with TEN stars I would! One would be hard pressed to find a dental patient with more anxiety than I have, yet, I can honestly say that my anxiety has been drastically reduced by the doctors and staff at this office! I am new to this practice. Dr Putt has a gentle kindness about him and explains everything thoroughly. Fortunately, Dr Braga, the periodontist, (who also has a wonderful sense of humor) works with this group one day a week so further issues can be addressed all in one place.

I was a new patient to this practice, had gotten a recommendation from my old dentist. Dr. Putt spent a great deal of time getting to know me and my teeth, explaining everything, never rushing me. He might've been better than my prior dentist! The dental assistant was very nice too, and Veronica at the front desk is conscientious, professional, and kind. So glad I found this practice!

I have never actually been to Wayland Dental. I wanted to find a new dentist and saw they had good reviews so I called to set an appointment. Anne Marie informed me that she only talks to potential new clients on Fridays, when they are closed, and that she would call me back on Friday between 8 and 12. I have been an administrator for over 30 years and I could not believe she was going to call me back at her convenience instead of speaking to me, obviously, when I called at a time that was best for me, the client, to talk. She called me back Friday and I was on a work conference call so

Today was my first visit to Dr. Putts and he and his staff exceeded my expectations. The staff was outstanding - welcoming, informative and open to questions. During my exam, Dr. Pratt used state of the art technology to examine my teeth, show me the results on a tv screen, make recommendations based on the pictures I saw and then prioritize my dental treatment options. He also focused on functional areas rather than cosmetic. Because I do not have insurance, I also appreciated the attention he paid to discussing my payment concerns and the options that his office offered me.

Dr. Putt's office is amazing! They saw our host son from the Ukraine today. From Anne Marie at the front desk, to the hygienist Cindy and to Dr. Putt all were so kind and gentle and caring with him. Good location, freshly renovated dental office,but very limited and insecure dentistry. Never the same hygienist, rarely the same dental assistant, always different associate, never periodontist on staff (or constantly different), employees don't seem to like to stay in a practice, on top of that you are greeted with a fake smile, So if you are looking for a dental home this is not a place to be.

Best dental practice I've used (and I've used many!). As a rule, I really DO NOT love going to the dentist, but the atmosphere at Wayland Dental is so relaxed, the dentists and staff so kind (and good at what they do), that it's actually rather pleasant. :)
Plus, you have your own personal TV to watch while being treated...and you choose the channel(s)! Need I say more? 5+ stars!
