Nice guy, prompt, picked by the bank- gave them the appraisal they wanted, not one even remotely close to the actual value.
Might be fine in suburbia- but in a historic district- undervalued by almost 30%.
Find someone else if you have a totally renovated old home.
And his response about comparing 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom is BS. First off, square footage still counts, and he's at least 20% under a smaller studio sized house with a much smaller lot.
If it's Historic- don't use him.
