Came in for eyeglasses but at the time also had a few underlying medical issues that were affecting my eyes at time of visit. These problems would have been apparent during the dilated exam even though I couldn't tell. The optometrist said nothing and not too long after the issues progressed and caused major, irreversible problems. Had the optometrist not been negligent, maybe more caring/concerned and referred me to an opthalmologist like she was supposed to (often optometrists see problems first) my vision probably could have been saved. As for the prescription glasses they were accurate

So I finally decided to get my eye exam as well as my teenage daughters exam . I found this location on Yelp and saw some promising reviews.
The staff is very friendly, the doctor is absolutely thorough and informative during the exam and Hendrick was excellent In helping us both choose a frame that we were comfortable in and even helped with suggestions, Hendrick explained my insurance benefits as well as all of our options . My daughter and I are very happy with the care that we received and will definitely be recommending Fountain Valley Optometry to my family and friends .

I was on my last pair of contacts and it ripped while I was at work. Being in the healthcare field, walk in are sometime of a hassle especially on weekends. I called a few offices to see if they can bring me in but the wait would be an hour or so. I then called here; the gentleman I spoke with on the phone kindly squeezed me in. I get relieved! I came in twenty five minutes late but they still were able to see me. I waited less than 20 minutes. Dr. Dao was great and took her time with me. If I could give more stars I would! Amazing customer service! Definitely recommend everyone to come here for

If you are looking for and optometrist, need glasses, contacts or even just a cool pair of sunglasses this is the place to go! I love this place! They got me as a loyal customer on the phone call to schedule our exam. They give the highest level of customer service and provide amazing products. I love them and would definitely recommend.

Everything was smooth and easy going. I got my contacts for the first time and I like how they walk you through it and double check on your eyes. I messed up my first appointment which was my bad but they were kind and rebooked me politely.
The miss at the front desk is super nice too and I enjoyed her cheerfulness regardless of how exhausted and lackluster I was today.

Been coming here to see Dr Dao for 5 years now. She has THE best bedside manner, I always look forward to my visits with her. I also really like the front desk staff here, they are professional, friendly, and so helpful. The office space is cool - if you have kiddos like me, they will stay busy with books and a small activity corner. They also offer the Retina scan for extra, so I know they take advantage of the latest & greatest technologies. My whole family comes here, it's easy to find parking and very comfortable office.

Excellent staff. I got a pair of glasses here a few years ago, and started wearing them recently again but they were in pretty bad shape. I called to see if they could help adjust the frames and the girl who picked up the phone was super nice and said I could come in anytime. When I walked in, I was helped right away. Kevin helped me adjust the frames and made sure it fit my face. I really appreciated it. Will definitely consider coming back.

This place would have gotten a 5 but the front desk girl is awful. She is young and a bit of stuck up. I have came here multiple of times and she hasn't once greeted me properly. She is so loud it's quite annoying. Can she please be replaced?

I never thought I would review a doctor's office, but Dr. Dao and her staff deserve more than just 5 stars. I would recommend them with no doubt. I had gotten a referral from a friend, and I am glad I switched over from lousy Costco optometrists after seven years!
Dr. Dao knows what she's doing - she's been in practice for over 10 years (but she doesn't look it!!). I used to wear hard contact (RPG) lenses. I decided to switch to wearing soft contacts, and Dr. Dao has made the transition go by smoothly for me. I've been to a couple follow ups already because Dr.
