Very nicely decorated for the holidays and friendly staff. The breakfast was great and included fresh treats from the bakery. The only negatives are there our bed was quite soft and not the most comfortable and also the walls weren't the most noise proof and we had some noisy neighbors (kids) late into the night.

Our stay was trying. I order a recliner in our room a week before we arrived on 9/15/2021 because the person I traveled with could not lay in a bed do to back issues. They had no recliner reserved. The girl that was working with me made no effort to help I asked for anything. Then I heard another girl tell a customer we have rooms with with a sofa. Then the wonderful girl Mary after she was done with her customer took over and put us in a room with a sofa at least my friend was able to have support for her back with her legs up on a suitcase. The room cost more but she got to enjoy the markets

Absolutely amazing service, staff, and cleanliness. The room was absolutely spotless. Could not hear noise from other rooms or the hallway. Bed was comfortable. We loved the pool, hot tub, arcade, and ice cream parlor. Best hotel buffet breakfast I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. We will be back!

When we go to Shipshewana, Indiana, we always stay at the Blue Gate Garden inn. We love how clean and cozy the rooms are. We love the extra amenities that are available. We love that in the afternoons sometimes they will put out trays of cookies and a big water dispenser that has citrus fruit floating in it. I love that when I call to make my reservation I'm always met with someone with a friendly voice who knows how to get me exactly what I need. Perhaps the best part of staying here is breakfast. I have never seen a hotel with breakfast like this. I can get a basic continental breakfast if that

Very clean and well kept hotel. Price was fair. Pool and hot tub need some updates, the pool bottom is very rough and the stairs on the deep end need repair. We also needed to get the hotel staff to turn the hot tub on because the timer dial wouldn't work. The staff was super nice about helping. The pool area was nice and clean with lots of fresh towels and plenty of seating. The outside patios are beautiful with inviting fireplaces.
They have a cute little ice cream place that was fun. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice.
