Iwai installed a new HVAC on the roof of our townhouse at the end of 2014. The unit works fine. The problem came when we would have heavy rains. We would get a drip coming down through the unit onto our carpet. We called them several times over the next 3 years when it would drip. They were not very responsive, but would eventually come out and put some sealing stuff on. Nothing worked. They eventually said it was probably the roof. Our roof repair people said it wasn't. Finally, in 2021 we called another HVAC company and asked them to evaluate it. They tested it with a hose and discovered

Brandon, Craig, Keanu, Lissa are all awesome, excellent service, fast and efficient. Very knowledgeable and professional, I would trust them with all of my AC/heating needs. During the hottest and busiest time of the year, they came out and diagnosed my A/C unit problem quickly and fixed it on the spot. They are fast, friendly, and affordable. Learned a lot from Brandon today as he also explained what he was doing and why. Very thankful for Iwai Cooling and Heating. Keep up the great work!!

Iwai Cooling & Heating is the epitome of great service. Like many others, our A/C suddenly started blowing out warm air. We called another company first and we were quoted $9k-$12k for a full system change to fix, which I was told was our ONLY option. I then called Iwai on a Friday morning, after a friend had recommended them (they worked on his house 7 years earlier) to me. Lisa, from their office, worked diligently to get her crew to inspect my system asap. Although they were too busy to come the same day, she was able to squeeze me in the following Monday. I even received helpful text reminders

When our central heat didn't turn on right away, I called what I though was Benedict and Benedict, only to learn that they had been bought by Iwai Cooling and Heating. As a long time customer of the former company, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Iwai also had the same high standards for customer service and efficiency. Brandon Iwai was courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. I will be sure to schedule an annual AC service with this fine company.

We have a six year old AC system. A few days ago, on the first really hot day of the year, the system came on, provided cold air for about an hour and then quit. The first AC company that examined the system said we needed a new condenser/compressor. I called Iwai for a second opinion. When the Iwai rep arrived, I explained to him that the fan at the top of the condenser/compressor turns slowly and the system just kind-of whines. The Iwai rep replied, "it sounds like a capacitor." Due to a cancellation I was able to get an appointment a day earlier than originally scheduled which worked out great because I happened to be home. Brandon came within the appointment window and took a look at my furnace which I told him I could hear dripping noises in between the a/c cycling. He unclogged the condensation drain pipe and rerouted it so it would pass in front of the air filter door panel. He also noticed that the fan blower seemed unusually loud when the a/c kicked in and discovered that one of the motor mounting bracket was missing a screw! He replaced the missing screw and

When my parents needed someone to come out and check/service their A/C we reached out to Iwai C&H. Upon calling to schedule the service, Brandon was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He worked with my parents' availability with ease and was able to have someone out within a couple days. My mother said the Iwai rep was very nice and professional. First let me say IWAI was very responsive in getting someone out to resolve my problem.
I'm a little disappointed, had IWAI come inspect, diagnose and repair my air conditioner. The technician informed me I needed 1 lb of coolant as I may have a small leak and we discussed having my air ducts replaced, which would also help with the cooling. After the coolant, the house began to cool and the air conditioner seemed to work fine. A few days later, at a cost of $1,500, I had IWAI come and replace all the ducts, with one request, take before and after pictures, which Brandon Iwai stated was

The one star is for - Iwai has done good work for me before, and he respects households by taking off his shoes and I'm shallow and he's good looking but man... even if my old school parents love him, what good is a company if you can never get in touch with them? I mean, like other reviews say, you have to try for MONTHS.
