Services
Chino Hills Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is a full-service veterinary hospital and pet resort. Take a look below for information on some of the services we provide. We look forward to helping you! We want our pets to live as happy and healthy as possible, which means they should be visiting their primary care doctor for an annual exam just as we would.
From an early age, Dr. Grant Dunbar discovered that he had a love for animals; frequently bringing home any stray or abandoned animal that needed a home. This passion then evolved with him spending a majority of his time after school and on the weekends at his father's hospital developing the skills needed to take care of the animals he cared so much about.
Chino Hills Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is rapidly expanding and always looking for skilled, dedicated and compassionate staff to join our team. Want to apply? Simply email your resume with a brief introduction letter about why you want to work here and we'll follow up with you as soon as possible.
At Chino Hills Animal Hospital, you can expect state of the art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.

We are frequent flyers at both the Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, parents of 2 Boston Terrier girls. Dr. Claudine was amazing with us today! It was nice to have our Cleopatra in the care of such a kind, caring and personable veterinarian! We brought up what's bothering her, she carefully examined her, she gave us a prognosis and treatment plan, all with love & concern for her over-all wellbeing. Truly first-class treatment for our girls! Thank you Dr. Claudine!

I've been coming to the resort to have daycare services for my husky. They're resort is awesome and my dog always has a blast (I can tell by his expressions when I pick him up).
However, recently and unfortunately, our husky was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. After a extensive ordeal, our normal vet (I won't say which vet to keep this a cordial as possible) was not able to see/treat our husky for over 2 weeks due to their full load of appointments. We knew Chino Hills Pet Resort also had an Animal Hospital, so we called them and explained our situation. They were able to give

The staff there is attentive and caring towards our dog, but not all the staff there are cat friendly. Also, it has been more and more busy lately and when they ask you to drop in without an appointment, you end up waiting for over an hour. However, they sometimes tell you to not make an appointment for something like a check up or getting stitches removed to leave the appointment slots open for other appointments. Overall, no complaints other than the wait time for our dog, but again, not everyone there is a cat person so depending on which Vet you get the experience could be good, could be

Please be cautious if you decide to go & read the comments because this isn't the first time they have treated a family like this
We just moved to the area & we wanted to find our dog a new vet.
From the Yelp reviews I had really high expectations of this place but it's true you can't believe everything you read on the internet.
The facility looked amazing & the front desk girl was so sweet.
But as soon as the vet walked in my husband & I immediately had a bad feeling. She was very cold & rude, she didn't introduce herself.

We have had several interactions with this facility. First time was for a pet emergency at their hospital. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet that treated our dog was beyond amazing! Their customer service is phenomenal. Our second encounter was taking our pet to the groomers. They did an amazing job and our dog came back all clean and fresh! And lastly, we had a daycare evaluation appointment today and everyone was once again super friendly and professional! I definitely trust this place for all my dogs' needs!

I have been bringing my dog to Chino Hills Animal Pet Resort for the past year and have nothing but positive comments regarding his stay. I can tell he gets attention and plenty of walks through the day, and get's excited when dropping him off. The staff knows him and it shows on my pet's expressions.
Highly recommend.

I have a one-year-old poodle mix who is very energetic and I've been bringing him to the daycare at the Pet Resort. The staff here is very friendly and always greet us warmly. Mochi gets so excited as soon as we pull up that he scratches the car window because he wants to get out!
The resort staff here is awesome and they really work with your fur baby to make sure they are well taken care of.
They separate the pups by size and temperament and I love the fact you can see the play yards via a live webcam. It's very reassuring for me since I can see Mochi while he is there.

The majority of the staff that works there is great to deal with, the actual vets are very knowledgeable and were great with my puppy.
However, their lack of communication and the surgical tech managers demeanor was extremely unprofessional and concerning.

Made the difficult decision to put my dog down. Got very clear quote on the cost of the various options over the phone. When I brought my dog in, they added a shot to "calm my dog down" before the actual euthanasia and this was the first time I heard of the shot, it was never mentioned as an option/requirement when they quoted me over the phone. We were already too emotional in the exam room, holding our dog for the last few moments that we didn't argue about the extra cost at the time.
They asked us to temporarily leave the room while they administered that shot, and invited

Our visit was an office visit. Our puppy was sick. Upon entering the premises the facility was very clean and also full with cars. We enter the office and were greeted. We checked in and asked if we would be seated inside or out that way when it was our turn they would know exactly where to find us. The tech was very sweet! Very informative patient call when explaining information and also very efficient. The doctor was very knowledgeable, patient with our pop, and caring! I'm very impressed with the service and I would recommend anybody for the best care to come here! Great job gals keep

Out of five pet hospitals I called on a Saturday morning, only Chino Hills Animal Hospital would accommodate me with an urgent visit appointment. The office environment and decor are comforting and current safety protocols were being observed. The front desk staff was efficient and personable, and Dr. Brauer and her assistant were great! I've now changed veterinary practices after 25 years.

Probably one of the saddest days in my life but to no fault of the staff at the animal hospital. First I'd like to say I appreciate everything they did to save my pup Heidi's life. Unfortunately my angel was called to the other side of rainbow bridge. All the staff was so accommodating to my family and I and we were going through the process of losing a loved one. Thank you all for trying to help her and keeping her out of pain. Thank you for getting us in under emergency conditions and taking us right away where other emergency vets in the area didn't seem to care or weren

I am very grateful to have found this pet hospital/vet office/pet resort! They trim nails without requiring an appt., the facility is extremely well-kept and sanitized, the employees are organized and very personable, and Doctor Dunbar is an incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and kind-hearted veterinarian! My dog has been very well taken care of. I look forward to her laparoscopic spay surgery in about 5-6 months!

This facility truly knows what they're doing.
My 14yo Pomeranian was diagnosed with a heart murmur about 4 years ago. It wasn't until last year that we switched his vet to CH animal hospital and Dr Brauer has been taking great care of him since. My initial interaction with Dr Brauer was a great one- we took a chest x-ray for my boy and saw that his heart condition has been progressing. She was very thorough explaining my baby's diagnosis and prescribed a long-term heart medication. My boy has been kicking and running harder ever since.
This place gets pretty packed on the weekends

I'm beyond disgusted with this place. They discriminate against pitbulls, but still want your business so they will fabricate a whole attack story to do so.
I tried to board my dog here at their resort. After misplacing my information and claiming my dog does not have an interview scheduled, they decided to take us anyways. In order to board with them, your dog must pass an interview which is a standard process anywhere. After we dropped him off for the interview and daycare no less than 5 minutes, we received a call that my dog "supposedly" lounge at another dog there and tried

Wow what can I say. I am so blessed that I did my research. It wasn't about price. It was how I was treated on the phone and how the doctor responded to me.
I had a 10-year-old cane Corso that I had to put to sleep due to hip problems seizures and just being old. He was more than a pet he was part of the family. From the moment I called in until today when I picked up his paw print. Everybody was so kind and understanding. I know it's hard during these busy times but thank you.
Thank you so much for the paw print , to some it may mean nothing but to us that means everything. Thank you
