Services
Bridgton Veterinary Hospital offers full service medical services for your pets including; vaccinations, diagnostics, radiology, and routine surgical procedures. Dental: We recommend all pets be on some kind of daily home dental care plan, such as dental diets, dental chews, oral rinses or daily brushing.
We recommend daily dental home care for every dog and cat. Brushing is the gold standard but there are many other options for dental home care, such as dental diets, chews, rinses, and water additives. We thought it would be good to share with you that the staff is recommending to our clients something that we are also doing for our own pets.
Accreditation is required for human hospitals but voluntary for animal hospitals. Only about 15% of animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada are accredited by AAHA, and we're proud to say that we're one of them! To become accredited by AAHA, an experienced accreditation consultant visits our hospital to evaluate us on more than 900 standards that directly correlate to the quality of care we are providing your pet.
At Bridgton Veterinary Hospital, you can expect state of the art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.

I went to Bridgton Veterinary for two years, and since myself and my two cats and my dog have moved over a year ago, I’ve found myself being saddened not to go into their office on more than one occasion! Can’t recommend enough. Every experience with them was incredibly in depth, and handled with care. Highly recommend.

From booking to next week appointment hands down wonderful! Five stars given and deserved ! Got us in super fast, under 8 days from initial call for an appointment. Courtesy and compassion threw and threw. It uas been a few years.. maybe even CLOSE TO THREE YEARS, since we brought our dog Pal Pachino, back for a check up, and I felt as of we had just talked yesterday. Respect reception whom remembered and seemed excited to book and see pal at his up and coming appointment. vets always seem scary.... PRICE WISE AND most likely the reason for such a long wait between checkups (3yrs

Twice we have sat on the parking lot for an unacceptable amount of time before we had to contact them regarding what was going on. We understand about busy and even short staffed but it shouldn't be us contacting them, they were aware we were in the parking lot. A phone call early to say you are behind would be gratefully appreciated.

Our experience at the Bridgton Veterinary Hospital was uplifting and we are so grateful for the professional care and patient individuals who work day in and day out taking care of animals. Every single interaction was pleasant and we were prepared for a somewhat long wait as our dog's procedure was lengthy. Every aspect of our visit was positive and we thank you.
