Harbor Auto Body was started back in 1973 by Joseph Shank and his wife Elaine when they were 18 years of age. A small operation name Joe's Auto Body at the time with a passion for automobiles, Joseph and Elaine knew that with superior customer service they could be a leader in the automobile refinishing industry.

Over the past twenty years, my family has made use of the consistently excellent craftsmanship and service at Harbor Auto Body. Recently, I brought my less than 1 year old CRV in for body work due to an anonymous parking lot encounter. Once again, my vehicle was returned sooner than expected, in perfect repair for a very fair price. When I first moved to Townsend, I was involved in an accident with my brand new truck within a week of buying it new. I met with him and immediately felt comfortable in procuring his services. To my amazement, but not surprise after talking with him, he delivered my brand new truck to me as if it was just delivered from the dealership. I kept it for years and there was never a hint of the accident many years later. Hats off to Joe and his team.

I have used Harbor Auto Body twice for damage to my and my husbands cars. They are extremely professional, what they quote you is almost exactly to the penny what they charge you in the end, my car is always fixed beautifully, and my car is always given back to me cleaner than when I brought it in. I would highly recommend Harbor to anyone!

Harbor was so easy to work with. I walked in with no appt for an estimate. They handled everything with my USAA insurance. They were done when they said they would be and when I got my car back it was cleaner than it's ever been. The work looks great - can't tell there was ever any damage. Hassle free, friendly and close to home.
