Scientific evidence indicates that indoor air pollution may be more hazardous to our health than outdoor pollution. When you add up home, work, school, and other activities, many people spend approximately 90% of their time in buildings, so safe indoor air quality is important to the health of us all. We now know that exposure to asbestos, lead paint, and mold can all contribute to health and air quality concerns.

Asbestos was used extensively in construction materials from 1930 through the mid 1970's, until the government started regulating asbestos use in the U.S. Lead paint was used on houses and commercial buildings from the 1940's through 1978, when the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission lowered the legal lead content on houses to 0.06%, a trace amount.Mold can grow in any building, old or new, anywhere there is an on-going moisture problem.
Services
Modern building materials such as acoustic ceiling tile, carpet, particleboard, sheetrock and wallpaper are like candy to mold. Mold actually eats and digests the host product, damaging furnishings and eventually causing structural damage to building materials. Molds reproduce by releasing spores, regenerative cells with a tough coating that can survive detergents, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the safest method of removal for lead paint is to use professionals trained in hazardous material removal. IRS Environmental is certified and experienced in lead paint renovation, repair and paint. Burning, sanding, or grinding surfaces with lead paint can release lead dust, which is why special precautions must be taken.

I’d give no stars based on the poor organization and communication I experienced with this company.

Totally unaccountable and unprofessional. They broke expensive equipment on our job, including a camera that was capturing images right up until they showed on the job site, then miraculously with no one else in the space because of the asbestos containment system, equipment got broke. They became incredibly argumentative once we brought it up to them and said "maybe they did it", with no apology or offer to make it right, or even just a little empathy in their approach. I would go somewhere else if you are looking for someone to treat your home with care.
