Your initial appointment will consist of a comprehensive explanation of your diagnosis, needed radiographs, 35 point exam photos, cancer exam, gum exam and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Our office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7 A.M. to 4 P.M., Wednesday from 7 A.M. to 1 P.M. and the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month from 7 A.M. to 10 A.M. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
For your convenience we accept Visa and MasterCard. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other written arrangements have been made well in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (925) 945-8006.
Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement.

Just finish 2 crowns for me. I had the best dentist experience in my life. He is very patient with his patients. I can tell Dr. Pestana is very knowledgeable about his profession he only uses the most advanced available materials he takes the time to explain in a very detail way how he will work in your mouth and during this pandemic times
Dr Pestana takes every precaution to keep everybody as safe and comfortable as possible.
He only takes ONE patient at the time so he is focus only in you. Not jumping between chairs like it usually happens with other dentist.

Dr Daniel's an excellent dentist! He's super professional and patient to explain every detail to me. He always gives me great suggestions. I'm glad to have Dr Daniel take care of my teeth. He even provided me my x-ray pics when I told him I need to visit a dentist during my trip back to China. I also really like Michelle, who is also really nice.

I have never had a negative experience here! Dr. Pestana is very personable and easy to talk to. Carlota too! They are both great! I never feel rushed and I feel like they genuinely care.
The office is nice and clean and I'm very comfortable going there. I also love that they send reminder texts and/or emails (depending on your preference). So helpful!

What a caring, nice dentist! Dr. Pestana saw me on short notice. He has been available after hours for emergencies and has spent time getting to know me in addition to doing a great job. If you're looking for a personable, sensitive dentist, this is who I would recommend in a heartbeat. He really cares about my whole person - in addition to doing a great job on my smile!

I was recently seen by Dr. Pestana for xrays, exam, and teeth cleaning. He is an excellent dentist, and he and Carlota, his office manager, always make me feel welcome and completely at ease. I have recommended him to many of my friends here, in Rio Vista, even though his office is about an hour away. Having a good dentist that you trust is worth it. Dr. Pestana is an amazing dentist. I have been able to be seen right away for emergencies. I have also gone in for his cold sore laser treatment. It's painless, cheap and best of all, the cold sore stayed the same size and didn't get blown out like normal. Carlota is also awesome!!! She is very inviting and always polite. You will not get the same amazing level of care anywhere else...period! Dr. Pestana personally helps me every time I visit his office and that makes a huge difference to me. No musical chairs or trying get the "good" hygienist that doesn't torture you. I had avoided going to the dentist for way too long and had a few issues to address. I met Dr. Pestana and decided it was time to get my teeth in shape. I am so glad I chose Dr. Pestana because he really made the entire process very easy. First he is extremely patient and always makes sure I was comfortable in the chair during my appointments

I was looking into Dentists that were close to my office in Walnut Creek, Ca. I was going to move from my current Dentist in Danville as his costs were continually increasing and he would not take my new dental plan as I changed carriers. I came across Dr. Daniel Pestano and called and spoke with his office manager to see if they would accept my dental plan. I was so impressed with his office manager and so friendly and client focused, I decided to make am appointment. Admittedly, I have not always been a fan of "going to the dentist". it was something I "had to do", not something I wanted to do.
going to Dr. Pestana's office is something I actually look forward to. his staff is friendly and professional. and he is gentle and reassuring. and, of course, I like how my teeth feel after getting them cleaned.
I live in Rio Vista, and there are dentists closer that I could go to, but why? whenever anyone of my new neighbors asks about a dentist close by, I tell them to venture out to Walnut Creek, and go see "mine". Dr. Pestana is the best. Period.

Lucky to find Dr Pestana! I needed emergency dental work and he fit me in the next day before traveling, on two occasions. Dr Pestana stays up on all the latest science, technology and has a knack for the art of dentistry as well. A rare find amd I highly recommend.

I moved back to Walnut Creek after 26 years and needed to find a new Dentist. Luckily I found Dr Pestana who is right off Ygnacio near Wiget Lane. He does great work, enjoys his profession and has a great staff. So far,everything has been totally painless. He is on the first floor of an office building and there is always plenty of parking, which is a bonus in Walnut Creek.

I JUST LOVE the staff at here!!! The only thing I am not to crazy about is how small the office is, at the sametime it is a warm friendly and very clean place to have you're teeth worked on. The office is manager is very really warm and friendly and the RDA Sarah is great she will treat you like her bestfriend!! The Dr. is awsome he is very detailed oranted and takes his time with each and every patient that walks in. I have nothing but great things to say.
