La Mela destroyed a brand new driveway when backing in the driveway to lift up the dumpster. Calling all day, sent pictures, kept being placed on hold, finally had to call from a different number for them to answer me and when finally spoke to the owner he failed to take responsibility and started calling us stupid to think it is their fault and started using profanity and said they refuse to pay for the damage made by their driver. Very unprofessional company. Only order from them if you want to risk damage to your property and putting the blame on you. You get what you pay for.

They used to be great lately they're unreliable. We're suppose to get picked up every 2 weeks and they make excuses when they don't come.like oh this was your off week um no last week was so you need to come now oh we can't get anyone there until next sorry smh totally lost respect for the business and John lamela himself

I called Lamela and asked for a 20yd dumpster for our basement clean out and the woman who answered was lovely and helpful and it was delivered in just a couple days. When I asked for them to come out and puck it up when we were done, they came right out the same day, the driver even brought up our cans that were still out to the road from earlier regular garbage pickup. I can’t say enough about how nice, professional and accommodating Lamela was. I would recommend them to anyone looking for garbage dumpster or service. And let me add that I have dealt with other garbage dumpster vendors before

I have been a customer of La Mela's for almost two years now. Switched from County Waste. What a difference in customer service. When I was with County Waste and a pick up was missed, all they offered to do was pick it up the following week. Which doesn't help if the cans are full and you have no extras cans to place that weeks trash in. Also, a portion of your monthly bill is for the service of weekly pick up. Do you think they would refund the week they missed, of course not! Well, this week, I had to call La Mela for the first time (since signing up) to address a missed pickup (which was partially
