North Dallas Appliance Repair has been around in the Dallas area since 1993 in one form or another. We started out as Scott's Maytag Home Appliance Center in Mesquite, Tx. After selling and servicing appliances in Mesquite for six or seven years, we decided to focus on providing quality appliance service in Dallas, Mesquite, Rowlett, and Richardson.
At that point, we became Scott's Appliance Service and moved out of our Mesquite storefront. We wanted to repair appliances for people in a more convenient manner, so in-home service was the way to go. In 2008, we started our website and became North Dallas Appliance Repair, with a larger service area and the same phone numbers we started with all those years ago: 972-613-2500 and 972-680-8870.

We had an issue with our Fridge, and a person came to evaluate. They claimed that we needed a new compressor. They looked at our Washer and Dryer, and the recommendation was get new ones. The owner called me and said they could not install the compressor due to someone being out. So we paid $120 visit for inaccurate assessment of our appliances. The fridge was fixed by another company for $250 as it was the converter to the compressor which is an electronic component. Fridge is working 100% fine without replacing a compressor for over $800-$1000. Washer and Dryer, fixed for $50 and no issues any

They came out to service our broken dryer. The repairman diagnosed the issue & ordered a replacement part that we paid for which was supposed to arrive within 3 business days. It’s been over a week and we call and just get a recording. There’s no way to leave a message. Left wondering when they are getting back to us, if ever. Maybe they had a emergency?

Excellent service from Scott and Adam who performed the service call on tour Kitchen Aid refrigerator / freezer - on time and courteous. Had questions following the service call - again; prompt response! I have lived in Plano for 23 years and the service “attitude” from this team far exceeds my experience from others in the area. Highly recommend - they will be my FIRST call in the future if ever needed.

I should have listened to all the bad reviews, but you live and learn. Scott Glover is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever known. He was rude, dismissive, and failed to listen and understand the problem from the start.
I have a microwave that had a cooling fan start to fail. I could hear it and so could my wife. I explained the problem to Scott, and he assured me he would investigate. I received a call back that I needed a new motherboard, so he is the expert and I trusted him. I paid more than the microwave is worth to have it repaired ($375). When I went to pick it up, I could

The repair person showed up on time and was very personable. He looked at my old refrigerator for less than a minute and said the compressor was bad. He said it would take 6-8 hours to repair and cost over $1000.00. Obviously it wasn’t worth it for a 8 year old refrigerator. I paid the $85 service call and he left. I was looking for a used refrigerator on line and came across one for sale for $150. I called, explained the situation and the guy said he would take mine on trade. He fixes and repairs them in his spare time. When he got to the house he looked at the fridge and said the compressor
