At Texas Orthodontics for Kids, we offer a range of services to help you achieve the perfect smile. Orthodontic treatment is an intelligent investment in your dental and emotional health. An attractive smile enhances your health and helps improve self-confidence. It also makes it easier to brush and floss your teeth, which are essential for oral health.
It may be that you are unhappy with your smile or you have bite problems and never had orthodontic work as a child. It may be that you have seen your teenage son or daughter having successful treatment and would like the same chance. You now realize that it is time to do something about it and give yourself a treat.
Orthodontic treatment is becoming more and more common in adults. According to the American Association of Orthodontists, more than 25% of orthodontic patients are adults. Most adults receive treatment to improve their appearance and self-esteem and to maintain their oral health.
However, crooked teeth and a poor bite can contribute to gum disease and bone loss, tooth decay, abnormal wear of tooth enamel and surfaces, headaches, and jaw joint (TMJ/DMD) pain.More dramatic, positive effects on facial features and lip posture, as well as, broadening the arches, thereby widening the smile.

Retainers are a very important step in your orthodontic treatment. A retainer is an appliance used to prevent teeth from shifting after completion of orthodontic treatment. Each retainer is custom-made and is always recommended, at least temporarily, upon the removal of braces. No two retainers are the same, even though many look similar.

Texas Orthodontics for Kids has been fantastic with my daughter's braces. Everyone at the office has been so friendly. The orthodontist even called the day after to see how she was doing and if we had any questions. I appreciate that they accepted my insurance and made it easy to afford. I give them an A+ for great service and have recommended my friends to go see them.
