Services
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.

When the child is seen at one year, the first visit can be pleasant and uneventful, introducing the child and parents to the dental office.
If the procedure was in the lower jaw the tongue, teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. If the procedure was in the upper jaw the teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. Often, children do not understand the effects of local anesthesia, and may chew, scratch, suck, or play with the numb lip, tongue, or cheek.

We love Just for Kids Dentistry of Forney! Dr. Parker and his staff are so friendly and they do a fantastic job! They go out of their way to make sure that your child is comfortable. My 3 year old refers to them as the “nice dentist”. They’ve made going to the dentist a fun experience. I know my daughter is in great hands with this team. Highly recommend!!

My kids and I have been in Texas specifically living in Forney for almost 3 months now. My daughter woke up one morning with a huge bump on her gums. I was so frantic especially since I hadn’t found none of us dentist yet. I googled and found Just for Kids Denistry. They got my daughter in the same day treated her with antibiotics and we scheduled for her return visit to have her tooth pulled and Man the process was Amazing not only were we in and out but the staff are so very welcoming they made both Dakotah and I feel very comfortable and that tooth was out and nor Dakotah or myself even knew

What an amazing experience! My daughter was so nervous to get her tooth pulled. The staff was super friendly and made her feel so comfortable. The dentist and technician were incredible! They worked quickly and were able to do a tooth removal and a few fillings in about 25 minutes. I am blow away by our experience and will continue to use Just for kids dentistry of Forney for years to come! Thank you so much for making this such a great experience!

My son was having a dental emergency and after being refused for treatment at our family dentist in Forney I called around frantically an emotional wreck to find someone to help me. When I called, the lady on the phone was so nice, professional and offered options to me. She assisted me without any issue offered the first available and was even able to squeeze him in the same day.

This was the first visit to a dentist for both of my kids (ages 3.5 and 1.5). It was a wonderful experience. The technician took her time explaining all of the tools and how they were used. She really helped to ease their anxiety. Both the tech and Dr. Parker were extremely friendly, thorough, and willing to answer any questions. We would definitely recommend Just for Kids!

Love this office so much!! my sweet girl fell in the parking lot on the way in for her check up today and got all scraped up. They cheered her up and fixed her up with band aids. Then it turned out I was wrong… about our appointment and was a day early🤦♀️. They were very kind and didn't hesitate to squeeze us in so we didn't have to come back. The assistant and dentist are both so great with my daughter and she loves getting her teeth cleaned because they make it so fun. Great staff and adorable office!

I have made a couple reviews in the past, but I just want to say it again...we love this office. My son suffers high anxiety and trips to the dentist used to be such a struggle. Dr. Parker and his staff know just how to talk and work with kids to make them feel comfortable. At 12, my son doesn’t have the issues he once had, but that is all thanks to Dr. Parker and his ability to understand Braden’s concerns and help him past them. He is very patient with his clients...and their mamas!
