I am an award winning photographer, located in Winnetka, IL and servicing Winnetka and surrounding North Shore. I specialize in newborn, child and family photography. I've built my business around celebrating the moments of childhood that are otherwise lost.

Services
I typically book about 6-8 weeks out, sometimes further during the busy fall season. I recommend scheduling newborn sessions during your second trimester, to guarantee availability around your due date. With three young children and a husband that travels, weekends are mostly devoted to my family. I do schedule a limited number of family sessions on the weekend each year to accommodate clients that cannot make weekdays work.

We used Marena for our maternity and newborn photos and cannot say enough good things about her! Her work speaks for itself and she is able to capture the most incredible moments - she captured a photo with my newborn daughter smiling! She is a patient and kind person as well and helped us in so many ways beyond the photos like sharing great baby tips and calming our newborn while we focused our attention on selecting our favorite photos for our home. Marena was fantastic to work with and captured our newborn son perfectly in our new home. Marena is a true professional and has a given talent to work with infants. We recently worked with Marena for our maternity photos as well as a newborn session once our daughter was born and would highly recommend her! she was very professional as well as personable and friendly- the entire experience was very comfortable, fun and felt very natural. I felt as though I was working with a friend. Marena was a delight to work with during our Fall mini-session. She captured our family beautifully in such a short amount of time. Our two-year-old took to her right away and Marena was able to get lots of natural smiles from her. What amazed me the most was the swift turnaround time - we took photos on Monday, by Wednesday she had our gallery available and by Thursday we were able to download our chosen prints. Marena truly went above and beyond for us, and I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you!

We absolutely loved working with Marena Beck Photography for our newborn shoot. We chose to do an in-home lifestyle session and Marena made the experience very special us. She is a total pro and seemed to instinctively know how to capture the best of our family in the most organic way. She also knows how to calm a newborn which was really impressive to us as new parents (since we were still learning)! We took our newborn to Marena's studio when he was only 6 days old. I was slightly nervous about taking him out for his first photo shoot, but Marena made us so comfortable. All we had to do was show up and she took care of the rest! I just received our edited photos and could not be happier. The individual photos of our baby are absolutely beautiful. Marena has lovely hats, blankets, baskets, etc. in every color imaginable. We chose some beautiful "props" that compliment the colors in our nursery / home and made him look even more adorable than he already is. I was very impressed with Marena's
