If you dreamed of a cozy, romantic log cabin to enjoy for a few days, this is what you have been looking for. You will never forget the bright blue sky against Mount Elbert, Colorado's highest peak, the view of beaver ponds, all sitting by the woodstove, staring at the fire through its glass door, in a big cushy leather chair.
A warm and charming library, with a fainting bench, is waiting for you to put your feet up. The cabin is surrounded by aspen trees, which fill the rooms with gold in fall and flicker in the wind. Tashi's is half way surrounded by a porch, so you can just sit there and watch Mount Democrat turn red as the sun sets over Mount Elbert.

Services
Hike the fourteeners or stroll to view wildflower covered fields, unless you'd rather do it on horseback. Biking on challenging single tracks, or on the paved bike path circling town through the Old Mining District. Boating and Fishing at the surrounding lakes, unless fly fishing in crystal clear creeks is more your style.
Unless, you'd rather listen to the fire crackling in the wood stove, while you're watching the sun set on Mount Elbert, Colorado's highest peak, lounging in a overstuffed leather couch. Then, you decide to fix a little dinner in the kitchen, not that in fact you are really hungry, but more because you want to see how this old and shiny Tappan cooking stove works.
Sit on the wrap-around deck overlooking the glorious mountain peaks and twists and turns of the Arkansas River. Or climb Mt. Zion out the back door through the aspens into the San Isabel National Forest-with over a million acres to explore. Inside this authentic log cabin, you'll find burnished wood floors and wainscoting, sunny windows and a chef's kitchen.

We stayed at Luna's cabin for the weekend, and we were anticipating a peaceful, secluded mountain getaway. The reason for me giving 3 stars is that the photos posted by the owners are quite deceptive regarding the distance from a busy highway.
As you can see from my photos, CO-19 is approximately 30 feet from the cabin. Without the TV on, you can hear constant traffic even with the door closed. Trying to sit on the porch to relax was impossible because the road is so loud.
The cabin is basically as pictured on the website, very homey and comfortable, and the other 3 cabins are far enough from

We stayed for a week in Zuni. We really enjoyed it! They're very accommodating and had everything that we could have needed while we where there. Great location, not far from the downtown area. The only thing that I didn't love about it is that there is a good amount of road noise since it's right on a busy road. It isn't as bad inside the cabin, but still was not super excited about that. They are also very quick to get back to you with any questions or concerns.

The Luna cabin was a dream come true. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights in December and loved every minute of it. It's 5 minutes away from Leadville and very close to Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain, so there were plenty of great skiing options. We have stayed at a lot of places in Colorado over the years, and the Luna Cabin was and is by far the best place we've stayed. We cannot wait to come back.

So beautiful! We stayed in the cabin named Luna, named after the owner's late dog.
The Luna cabin is absolutely beautiful!!! It's large for a one bedroom cabin. Bigger than some one bedroom apartments in California. It had a shower that got super hot super quick. Heaters in the room and the living room as well as a wood burning stove in the main room.
The owner and his wife were so amazingly hospitable and laid back. They checked in on us to see how we were doing, left us some sweet treats on the living room table, and provided wood for the wood burning stove to keep us nice and toasty
