My name is Tracy Colangelo and I have been in the Early Childhood field for 34 years. Twenty-seven of the those years have been providing childcare for working families. I chose family childcare as my career because my primary goal is to stimulate the child's growth and development, while igniting intellectual curiosity.
At this age, children are rapidly developing cognitive, language, social and motor skills. They play, discover, and explore. By offering developmentally appropriate activities the child can reach his/her maximum potential. CPR and First Aid certified, completed DCFS required SIDS/Shaken Baby Syndrome training, Certified in Food Handling.

Services
Once you step into my childcare setting you'll love the warmth of our home and preschool like setting. I have a wide variety of developmentally appropriate toys and activities to compliment the whole child. My childcare space is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detector and a security alarm system.
I am writing this reference on behalf of Tracy Colangelo. Tracy has provided childcare and preschool education for our family for 3 years. Our son, Max, started at Milestones in November of 2012 and our daughter, Madeleine, started in June of 2014. Tracy doesn't just provide childcare and preschool education to our family; she provides a home away from home in an environment where children can thrive.

Tracy and her family are child-centered, loving and a wealth of knowledge for child development. We were there for two years with our boys and would’ve been longer if I was still working. My oldest has some anxiety and she was so great to work with and truly listened and help him grow in so many ways. Both boys loved being there. When I was at work, I never had worries about their wellness or safety— what more could a momma ask for! Highly recommend!

Milestones Family Childcare is the best!! My two boys attended for over three years. They absolutely loved coming to Tracy's home each day. Tracy became an extension of our family. She is caring, reliable, dedicated, and very knowledgeable about child development. She has an excellent management system that allows each child to grow socially and academically under her care. Our two boys have been attending Milestones for a year now and I could not be happier with the care they receive. Tracy is nurturing and caring, and it is obvious she has a true passion for what she does. The communication between her and parents is wonderful and I feel that it is a true partnership. Our boys have learned so much and have built great relationships at Milestones. Her entire family is wonderful and I know our boys are safe and loved while they are in their home.
