Dr. Hartley Nichols is delighted to be a part of the Chelsea community as your doctor at Chelsea Eye Care. Dr. Nichols is a native of the Birmingham area, including her education at Samford University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in biology.

Dr. Hartley, Kelley and the staff are all so helpful! Dr. Hartley explains everything very well and listens to every question and concern. I also tried on nearly all of the eyeglasses until I found just the right ones. They helped and never complained even with dozens of glasses on the table. They were very honest as to what looked good on me and what is in style. When the glasses arrived I was out of state, and they sent them to me very quickly. I’m so grateful for them!

I highly recommend this clinic. Dr Nichols is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in terms I can understand. She is awesome about thinking outside the box to help create solutions to issue I am having.

We are very thankful for the service we received from Di Nichols. My husband has his sight today thanks to her seeing something abnormal in his initial appointment with her. She sent him to Vision America for further test and examinations that confirmed what she saw in his visit with her. We cannot thank her enough. I am now a patient of Dr Nichols and very satisfied with her service. Kelli is always pleasant and friendly.

Was a patient here for a couple years. They never could give me a good prescription, but I have difficult eyes due to RK. I stopped going because 1. a substitute eye doctor they had told me to use a hairdryer on my eyes because I commented I was waking up with painful and dry eyes. She gave me a very off eye prescription. 2. I went back to the main doctor a week later to get a new RX. A couple days later, due to extreme eye pain, I ended up in the eye ER downtown. The Chronic Uveitis was totally missed. I had never had this condition before and apparently my pupil was stuck badly to my lens. All

Ok, which is better? 1 or 2? This? Or this? When your optometrist asks you that a dozen times, you feel like you're in school and have to get it right! Dr. Hartley is always patient, thorough, and personable. Always. I appreciate her and her staff for their professional care. I recommend her unconditionally. Having good sight is a glorious thing.

Dr. Nichols is an incredible doctor. She is caring, attentive, knowledgeable and has a wonderful staff. She puts her patients first and has helped me through many eye issues. I would never see another doctor! Her office is convenient and efficient and I'm always seen right at my appointment time. I can't recommend Dr. Nichols enough!

Dr Nichols is a wonderful eye doctor! She has helped me greatly with choosing the right contacts and eyeglasses. Her patience and kind heart make the usually uncomfortable optometrist visit so much better! Dr Nichols and her staff are extremely helpful anytime you need them.
