Services
I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the St. Helen School community, rich in Catholic tradition and an eagerness to learn. As your school principal, I look forward to building upon the strong spiritual and academic foundation already established through the hard work and dedication of our parents, teachers, staff and school parish.
St. Helen School operates based on the belief that students learn best when they are actively involved in their education and when they become responsible for their growth. St. Helen School expects its students to work at the highest level of which they are capable. Students, faculty and parents work together to evaluate each child's mastery of Common Core standards and to remediate any areas in which the child requires support.
What memories do you have of your elementary school years? Perhaps you remember the Halloween Carnival, or the Skate-O_Rama Nights, Art classes, the May Crowning, or even the spirited volleyball game against the faculty. No doubt you realize what a difference a quality Catholic school education has made in your life.
St. Helen School was established in 1941. Due to the war conditions of the times, the construction of the school was stopped. Eight classrooms, a library, and office were completed at the time. The remaining structures of the school which included additional offices, classrooms, auditorium, and storage spaces were never built.
As an educational ministry of St. Helen Catholic Church, St. Helen School places an emphasis on providing a strong religious foundation for all its students. Religion is taught daily at all grade levels as one of our academic subjects and is integrated into all subjects, and co-curricular activities at St. Helen School.

Several of my brothers and I attended St Helen Catholic School. The teachers were some of the most thoughtful and caring, I will always be grateful for the sacrifices my parents made to send us to this little gem of a school. I learned a life long devotion to our mother Mary and walking to church as a class are some of my most fondest memories.

My daughter went there 6th through 8th Grade. My main problem with the school was the other parents. If you don't mind dealing with snobs, arrogance, and pecking orders, By all means... I'm also aware that no school is with out faults, But this is the one that I had to deal with the entire time my kid was in that school. To tell you the truth this is a problem that's nothing compared to public schools, but still be WARNED. SNOBS, SNOBS, SNOBS
