Here at From the Heart Preschool, children learn through play, exploration and experiential exercises. We offer a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) early childhood curriculum. Science is observing and experimenting, making predictions, sharing discoveries, asking questions, and wondering how things work.
Engineering is solving problems, using a variety of materials, designing and creating, and building things that work. Art is sharing creativity, thoughts and feelings through music, drama, language, drawing, painting, dancing and poetry. Our teachers provide a variety of hands-on, open ended activities designed to foster creative and critical thinking in young children.

Services
We are a small preschool serving children ages two through six years old, excelling in science and technology. Our program is founded on the belief that the younger children benefit from modeling their older peers, while the older children benefit from being a mentor. These relationships foster self-esteem and personal growth essential to the readiness for elementary school.
A nonrefundable enrollment fee of $250 is due at the time of registration. The first month's tuition is due with the registration fee. These fees must be paid and required documentation submitted to the administrator prior to your child's starting date. Students who plan to continue in our program for the upcoming school year will be required to pay the annual fee again the first week of August.
From the Heart Preschool and Enrichment Center knows that nutritious foods help young children grow physically and mentally. Enjoying meals and snacks in a pleasant setting with friends and a trusted caregiver is the perfect opportunity for children to learn social skills, table manners and become familiar with eating a variety of healthy foods.
While academics is an important part of From the Heart, the parents and staff believe in taking time out for extra-curricular activities. Art classes designed to introduce our children to multiple genres of art and artists.
Whether it's the modern abstract expressionst art of Jackson Pollock, the masterful collages of Romare Bearden or the simplicity of Neo Plasticism art by Piet Mondrian, our children have a great time recreating and designing their very own works of art.

By far the best school our child has been to up to this point. This place is a gem! The teachers and director care and treat you like family. They also accommodate for cultural differences and special needs. There are countless enrichment activities and field trips. So many opportunities to volunteer and build community. The only reason our child isn't there anymore is because we moved to another area, otherwise he'd still be there.

This is a great school tucked away in the Hyde Park area of Inglewood. The teachers are very well educated. The students are well mannered and have a love of learning. I took my two children out of a very large school where their learning was stagnant, and put them in FTH. I have been very happy with my decision for over a year. They provide enrichment (French, Spanish, Yoga, Music, Dance, Karate, Tennis, Fine Art) and have computers. They also have wonderful educational field trips and events. The neighborhood may appear questionable at first, but I haven't witnessed anything negative
