Services
Dr. Bryan Marshall is a Licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist practicing in Austin Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado and then went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

I went in for my first ever glasses and had a great experience. Yes the doctor and exam process was great, however the help I received from ALL in the office prompted this review. Amanda was so helpful in picking out glasses and then making sure I was happy with the fitting and final product. Thank you!

I recently had an eye exam and c/l fit with Dr. Marshall. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in an optical shop...He was very thorough, took time to listen to my questions and answered them all. His staff must have been all hand picked by him, because everyone was exceptional!!. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars....great service

I took my 6 year old daughter in to Dr. Marshall for an eye infection and the whole experience was awesome. The staff was friendly and thorough, and Dr. Marshall was so nice and made my daughter feel so comfortable for her first eye exam. They did a normal eye exam- they made it like a game for her- and then checked the infected eye. Dr. Marshall was very gentle, and my daughter- who is normally a bit shy- felt comfortable answering his questions. We'll bring the whole family back for sure!

As someone who has worn glasses since elementary school, I've definitely gone through my fair share of eye doctors. Capital Eye is definitely my favorite eye doctor I've ever been to. Why? They have great technology (no eye puff machine, which is amazing!), great people who work there (yes, all of them!), Dr. Marshall ensures you know everything about your eyes, and they have an awesome selection of eyeglasses to choose from (without being pushy to purchase anything, but they will hype you up about how good you look, which I love)!

A mixed review. The front office (Christina and Amanda) are great. Very personable and helpful, and know what they are doing. The technology is also advanced so no more dilation of the eyes. Christina really does a good job taking care of everything pre- going into the examination room.
However, while Dr. Marshall is clearly competent and knows his stuff, the whole examination experience felt very very rushed, to the point that he forgot to take my eye pressure and didn't tell me anything about my eye health. I had to ask him to tell me and then he showed me the pictures of my eyes

Great optometrist. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the doctor is very good. It was disconcerting during my visit when David Bowie's "Let's Dance" came on the music system and I realized the song is older than the doctor, but don't hold that against him. The whole visit was fast and easy. A couple key things to note: he doesn't do that stupid air puff in the eyeball- he's got a photo scanner that provides that information. That's a plus. But best of all- they have a deal where if you do one eye, they do the second one free. That's right!

I got something in my eye this morning working in the yard, and by 10am it was getting painful and didn't look like it would clear up on its own. I walked into Capital Eye without an appointment. The staff were great and understanding, and Dr. Marshall fit me in without too long a wait. He then proceeded to remove a splinter that was embedded in my cornea! Plus he took pictures so I could see the before and after.
I'm due for new prescription, so I'll be back when I'm healed, because he carries a new line of glasses called Nine that are like my pair of Lindberg's - just

Dr Marshall is the best optometrist i have ever had. Unlike many other Doctors i have seen in the past who just go through the motion of delivering the exams without giving a lot of explanations and who seem bored with their trade, Dr Marshall comes across as passionate and being deeply interested in providing you with the best care while taking time to explain the why's. Both my husband and I had a similar experiences and we will be seeing Dr Marshall for years to come.
