Thank you for visiting The Nursery on Notch Hill website! The Nursery on Notch Hill was established as an outreach program by the Zion Episcopal Church and has been providing Early Childhood Education since 1971! We are a Preschool that provides a structured and academic program to enhance your child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Our qualified teachers provide a safe, child-centered environment where we prepare our children to succeed in all areas and help them to become developmentally ready for Kindergarten. We believe that each child is a unique individual who will develop at his or her own pace and we provide developmentally appropriate activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, independence and self-confidence.

Services
On a typical day, there is a group project that may focus on art, science, math or writing. These activities provide a variety of opportunities for self expression, cognitive growth, exploration and fine motor development. Circle time is a place to sing, dance, express ideas and share feelings in a class group.
Ms. Sue joined Notch Hill as the Director in the summer of 2016 but has been part of the Notch Hill family for over 18 year. After both of her children graduated from Notch Hill she joined the staff as a teacher assistant for 8 years and then worked three years as a Para professional in the public school system.
